Considering how limited Tasmania’s Vietnamese restaurant scene is, this pho was pretty satisfying. I am from Melbourne and we have a pretty significant Vietnamese scene so I am used to more “authentic” pho, but this was still pretty great. Out of the two pho restaurants I went to in Tassie this month, Cyclo was vastly superior. Really delicious and flavourful broth, the beef was also really tasty. The noodles are probably store bought but still good. So much onion which was wonderful! And the rice paper rolls we got and the peanut sauce were ridiculously good. Almost went to a “fine dining” Vietnamese restaurant in search of pho and I’m so glad we went here instead as I’m sure it tastes a thousand times better!
It is my first time to visit Cyclo in twice when I was in Hobart. Very impressive about the noodle and rice roll! There are many customers who wait for take-out and dine-in! I wish I had another chance to revisit this place.
I had my dinner Beef Pho, it was good. Was request spicy and they really did it. I came at 8:23 pm, i want to sit inside near the corner, one of team member was sweeping but not near the corner, she suddenly at the same time holding her sweep stick went to front door.nKnew I came before closing at least showing manner. Not by suddenly walked to the front door holding the sweep stick.nAt least say give me moment I will clean that area really quick and you can sit in that area. When I saw her walked to the front door did the cleaning I chose to stay middle long table so she can continue cleaning.
Very solid food for a very solid price. It was 38 dollars for 1 beef pho 18.5 and 1 beef combo pho 19.5.nnThe soup was very good, noodles were glassy with great texture and no complaints at all with the beef. The soup in particular was what interested me the most. A deep flavour, leaning more towards the sweet end of soup.
Fabulous Pho and Spring Rolls with lettuce and pickled carrot and mint! Great depth of flavour, quick service, wonderful staff! We just loved it!
