I've always liked Sakura. It's a busy place, usually full of an afternoon. Their sushi is lovely, always fresh, always consistent... the seaweed wrapper is actually tender and edible, while the rice has been seasoned with that special vinegar seasoning sadly lacking anywhere else in town. One warning though. Their soup is absolutely delicious and in huge servings ... but it's always sooooo scalding and frustratingly hot, chances are it will take you an hour, or more, to consume it.

Very friendly staff, the best sushi in Hobart!!!!! I love this place. Very reasonable prices and fresh sushi and sashimi. The cooked menu is good too. I'm a regular customer.

I love this place. I come here almost every day. Very reasonable prices and fresh sushi and sashimi. The cooked menu has some nice things on it too. The owner is so friendly too, my daughter calls him "the nice man".

Not bad, definitely if you consider how much you pay for it. Flavours were not really there though
