Lovely setting to experience peace in the middle of the city. High tea option is not value for money but the non high tea option food is reasonable. The gardens settings are wonderful and beautifully set out and maintained. A great place to unwind.

Mt Eden is an absolute gem for viewing the city. 
Perfect as a leisurely walk up,  jog or bike ride. Please not it's not accessible by car, you need to get there by foot or bike. 
It provides excellent vies across the entire city with an amazing backdrop of Rangitoto.
Being one of many volcanic cones, with its prefect crater it towers above the central city and Sky Tower.

People take note the times fluctuate to our seasons when the bottom gate closes. My most admired place to breath in Auckland and melt by the beauty our great city bestow.

This is a really cool place in the middle of the city. You really feel like you're on a volcano because the cone is so distinct.
It's also a really nice place to watch the sun set. ⛅

Very nice domain, you can't drive to top anymore. You can go part way up tho. There us a dog off lead paddock which is good. Rocks to sit on and shady trees.
