Tim was awesome today. Didn’t oversell. He listened at the questions of a novice and was super helpful. Wasn’t sold gold plated gear an expert may need. Highly recommend these guys
I purchased a used Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 from this dealer. I was a novice and they sold me an unsafe bike. It has cost me A LOT of money to fix the issues that the bike had when they sold it to me. The point of buying a bike from a dealer instead of a private seller is that you expect the bike to be in the condition described by the dealer. In their online advert Moto Arena stated that the bike was in 'immaculate condition', which was again reaffirmed by the salesman when I was going through the process of the sale. The bike was at a premium price and I paid the full price for the bike. Moto Arena arranged the transport of the bike to me. The bike arrived in Cairns and, when I took it on my maiden journey, it was apparent that the bike had a leaking front fork seal. I contacted the dealership immediately via email and I cited that this issue was not an aesthetic concern, but a significant safety issue as the fork oil was leaking onto the tyre and the front brake disc. Moto Arena did agree to pay for a fork seal replacement. When I asked about why there was a problem with the fork seals, the salesman stated that it was because of the way the bike was tied down during transportation. They did not allow me to elect the mechanic in Cairns to perform the repair and instead selected a big bike chain’s service centre. The service centre identified that the inner tubes were corroded and that the rough edges on the chrome from the corrosion was the cause of the fork seal issue. The mechanic also stated that the inner tubes could not be cleaned up properly and cited that the chrome may need to be replaced. Following this feedback from the mechanic, I contacted Moto Arena via email again to flag the issue and express my discontent that a bike I'd just purchased needed such a costly repair which existed at the point of sale and contradicted the ‘immaculate condition’ they said the bike was in. Moto Arena sent me a one line email instructing me to to call the salesmen responsible for the sale. When I called I could never get hold of the sales rep. The fork seals couldn't hold up against the corroded inner tubes, so I had the choice of either paying the cost of replacing or re-chroming the inner tubes or possibly being in a serious accident due to the fork oil leaking onto the tyre and front disc. Over a year down the track, and I recently reached out to the dealer again about this concern that Moto Arena failed to remedy. I did this in a bid to give them a final chance to remedy the issue before I wrote this review. I did not receive a response. As a dealership, they are legally obliged to provide a motor vehicle that is of acceptable quality and works as a reasonable consumer would expect it. Safety is paramount on a motorcycle and the state that the bike was sold in contravenes this legal obligation, not to mention that it was extremely unsafe.
I bought my Ducati Streetfighter V4S from Paul and the team back in May, great service and communication, fantastic bike. Super easy to deal with. Thanks again!
Big thank you to Paul for his prompt and tentative action during the whole sales process. He was quick to send videos/photos of the bike along with any revelant history. Also shoutout to Ryan in Parts & Accessories for educating me and having the patience to let me try on different sizes. Even went as far as taking me out to bike with all the gear on to see how it felt. Im definitely coming back here when its time to upgrade!
Recently purchased a new X-lite helmet from here. And had a great customer experience with Cameron. He was extremely helpful as I live outerstate, and made sure my helmet would reach me in time for my birthday, which it did!!. Thanks to Cam once again for his expertise and help. Would recommend him to anyone in search of accessories and parts for their bikes
Big thumbs up for Cameron in the discount motorcycle gear shop adjacent to the Ducati dealership. He really knows his stuff and gave my wife and I outstanding service and value. We needed helmets and jackets, tyres and other bits. He gave us great advice and prices, I always shop around for the best deals on things, but now for any bike gear, I just go straight to Cameron. Highly recommended.
Bought a Benelli 600BN GT got a good deal but started having ignition switch issues. Eventually sorted - just need lube in ignition. Brisbane Benelli dealer said switch needed replacing... Shea from Ducati Gold Coast lubed the switch and haven't had an issue for the last year. Good on ya mate
If your looking for a husqvarna, Better pricing at MPE suspension Sunshine Coast.
Just bought this helmet, It was such a pleasure to deal with Cameron Lacey, who was lighting fast with his communications even after hours professional and made this transaction quick, easy and seamless. Thx mate.
What a joke this company is, armature staff right from management to mechanics. I seriously can't believe they are still in business. I have spent in excess of $70 K in this store and the customer service is disgraceful. Recently purchased a 1260 fitted out with crash bars etc. First time the bike went down from standing, not a crash, the crash bars bent into the side of the bike. When I complained and said not good enough, they just told me the crash bars "had done there job". They went on to say that they are basically a sacrificial item that will bend every time. The cost every single time this bike goes down is a min of $500. Save you self any grief from dealing with these jokers, many other bikes that far exceed a Ducati, you are only paying for the name, lesson learnt, last time I ever buy one and last time I step foot in this shop.
