There’s a reason it has only been serviced here twice previously. The last time I went in for my service I was waiting an additional two hours for my car to be ready after its service as they admitted they ‘forgot to call.’ I thought I would give them another chance however this will be the last time. I received a call and the administrator asked if I would like a wheel alignment to which I said no as the tyres I had put on a few months ago came with a free alignment when I chose. The estimated time for pick up was 1-2pm which I understand is estimated however since they didn’t let me know last time that my car was ready I asked if they would let me know. The reply I received was a short “yes of course we always call as soon as paperwork has been finalised.” I explained this didn’t happen last time hence the request. I hadn’t received a call by 2pm so went back to the service centre as I knew it shouldn’t be far away. I was shown my paperwork by the administrator and she said she just received it and my car was going through the wash and wouldn’t be long. I waited in their lobby and 15mins part of the additional 45 mins I had to wait for my ‘wash’ later the administrator came in to talk me through the service explaining it was a very big one as expected already she started to go through what they had done before stating “not that you would really know what any of this means anyway.” Not an appropriate or professional remark. She then told me they had done a wheel alignment as it was really bad and persisted to ask if I ever put air in my tires because they were so low and felt the need to explain how important it is that I am checking the air in my tires my apologies IF they were low I hadn’t as they had recently been fitted with new tires. I explained this and she even asked where I had them done again an irrelevant comment. The wheel alignment was done without any communication or consultation I asked if I had to pay especially given I hadn’t left the authority and explained the disappointment in the lack of communication which I still expected to of course however some recognition of lack of comms wouldn’t have gone astray. Overall terrible attitude and won’t be returning especially flyer the 45 minute wait on top for my car to be ‘washed’ thanks anyway.
Leon was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and added much humour during our visit, which ended up with us buying our first ever brand new car. This followed with the very pleasant Mel, helping us through the finishing touches to our car. We felt so comfortable and not pushed into anything we didn't want. It made the process of buying the new car pleasurable.

having a pretty frustrating service experience at Kia. having dropped my Sorrento off for a service almost a week ago and complaining of a low brake pedal I am still waiting for them to even diagnose the issue. i went to collect the car after three days and was told there is no issue with the brakes. I said that's not right as i have to constantly pump the brake pedal to get a decent brake from the car. The fellow who served us said it had been checked and it was fine. Again I said no it's not. When he went to get the from upstairs he agreed the pedal was not right. Then out comes the mechanic who had no idea. Next comes the service manager, or so we were told but today was told he is not, who test drives the car. So the car sat there for three days after a brake complaint without being driven! And then they tried to fob me off and say it was fine. After the test drive the manager agreed the brakes are not right and, at a guess, diagnosed it as a possible booster/vaccum issue. We were told it would be diagnosed on Monday and someone would get back to us to let us know the outcome and arrange repair/parts etc. Nobody got back to us so I chased it up on Tuesday to be told they do not know why my car is still there, "I saw the paperwork but didnt know why it's here". So here we are approaching seven days with the vehicle and not even diagnosed yet and now i have to spend another waiting to see if they get back to me. Tomorrow is the last day of our holiday on the GC and we need that car to transport our luggage home. all the people we have dealt with have been friendly but it seems there is nobody steering the ship and the inconvenience is all ours
