I can’t thank Nurse Jess Taylor in Level 1 North ward enough for her outstanding care. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel comfortable and reassured. Her understanding and compassionate nature truly stood out; she took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions with patience.nJess was not only attentive to my needs but also showed incredible kindness to everyone in the room. It was clear that she genuinely cared about her patients, going above and beyond to ensure we felt supported during a challenging time. Her ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a calm and caring demeanor was truly impressive.nI believe recognition for Jess's exceptional attitude and dedication is well deserved. She is a shining example of what nursing should be, and I feel fortunate to have had her as my nurse. Thank you, Jess, for making my hospital experience much more manageable!
Outpatient specialist ward. Was sent here to have dressing removed following removal of skin cancer. The atmosphere was cold, mechanical, impersonal. The staff on reception desk were uniformly impatient and lacking any sort of compassion. They may do this every day, but for me and many others, it was a first time so a gentle explanation of the process would be nice. So far have been waiting 5 weeks for the pathology results. Staff on the phone can’t explain why it is taking so long. Again, without any compassion or understanding of how stressful it can be waiting for results. I would never presume to tell anyone to smile, but maybe just drop the impatience and sarcasm. Parking was good and easy.
Went to outpatients to see a specialist, we had to wait till the doors opened to the department.nI was the third person waiting...then at least two dozen people arrived....there was an almighty rush to get in by the late comers so ended up at the back.nA ticket system on arrival would be the way go to resolve this situation.
I was there to get some stiches 14a few weeks ago unfortunately the right process wasn’t followed and now ended up in Frankston hospital for an operation on my badly infected wound been on drip antibiotics for 3 days so far.This has badly impacted my work and have missed a holiday as well so I’m not happy at all
Just want to say a big thankyou to all the surgeon's, staff and nurse's you were all wonderful and took great care of me with my hernia operation. I'm amazed too with whoever stitched me up it was a great job and will leave very minimal scarring. Thanks again.
