Established in 2000, Luna Yoga is an Iyengar yoga studio that aims to inspire its students to find the opportunities that yoga offers.

Story

Established in 2000, Luna Yoga aims to inspire its new and regular students to meet the challenges and opportunities that yoga offers. Our experienced, Iyengar yoga certified teachers encourage students to work skilfully and intelligently, and to be open to the possibility of feeling the exhilaration that arises from experiencing integration and extension simultaneously. We aim for our students to leave class physically challenged yet with a feeling of elation and satisfaction in knowing they have explored new boundaries.

Myself and my family have attended Luna on and off for the past 15 years and it’s been fantastic! Vivienne and her team of instructors are amazing. You always feel comfortable in the classes and the teaches have a sense of humor! I would love to see some Yin classes on the timetable! 🧘‍♂️

I have been a student at Luna Yoga Studio for over 10 years and would highly recommend it, both for the curious beginner as well as the experienced Iyengar student. I have found all the teachers to be excellent throughout my yoga journey. It has been lovely to be able to continue and deepen my practice even through an injury or illness. With regular classes supported by intensives and retreats (as well as a great location) Luna and the wonderful friends I have there will continue to be a treasured part of my life many years.

Vivienne - Studio Director of Luna Yoga - has been my yoga teacher for over 20 years. Throughout this time she has remained committed not only to the Iyengar yoga philosophy, but also to her own continuing development, and I have watched her grow from a good teacher to a great teacher. She is observant and perceptive as a teacher, and her approach goes well beyond simply instructing her class how to 'do' the poses - it's more about 'feeling' the poses. I highly recommend Luna Yoga whether you are an experienced practitioner or just starting out on your yoga journey.
