We booked accommodation for the weekend of 4th March on boxing day. We paid in advance. Upon arrival we were told our van had someone in it. We then had to make our children sleep on the floor. We were fully refunded for this night. The second night and correct accommodation found my husband having to turn the water on and off to stop the very bad water leak under our bed. The $$ we ended up paying in the end equaled to if we'd paid for a powered camping spot. Which is exactly what it felt like. Our hard earned mini holiday accommodation was ruined. I certainly won't be recommending to anyone nor bothering to stay ever again. Pity because the park grounds were lovely.

We had a club bike camping tour to Longford and stayed one night by the river. Friendly staff, clean grassy sites by the river, excellent amenities and camp kitchen. As an example of the attention to detail, there was a wipe cloth and plug in the amenities block - a rare occurrence. Excellent for bike touring, reasonable fee and close to pubs, Hill St Grocer IGA and bakeries for breakfast. A great spot.

Lovely park overlooking the Maquarie river sites are spacious & the town has plenty to occupy you with shops, old homesteads, fishing etc

Superb park. Grounds well maintained. Toilets are spotless. Close to all shopping. An enjoyable and relaxing park by the river. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice place, great location, and the ducks are extremely friendly! Great place to stop for the night!
