Nice spot and large sites but that's where the positives end. Caretaker is rude. Way overpriced, we were charged $52 a night for a powered site for 2 adults and 3 children. Charging big 4 prices without the facilities to match. The male and female amenities have broken locks and are a nightmare to unlock there are 3 showers in the main amenities block and 2 washing machines in the laundry so if you are camping over peak period like us expect to line up. Amenities were lightly mopped everyday and rubbish removed but the toilets were not cleaned once in the 5 days we stayed there. The council toilets were actually cleaner. Very noisy train going through 3 times a night and the wind howling down the park is awful. I won't be back there's much nicer Parks cheaper.

Beautiful spot right on the river. Clean amenities. Close to the shopping center and all pubs and restaurants are in walking distance

The park is very well presented beautiful setting. Amenities at the top end of the park were very clean and good showers. Shame about the freight train being so close and the attitude of the caretaker. We didn't realize the park was also a public park. Have stayed at better parks.

We have been to Deloraine caravan park quite a few times now and go back because it is a very pretty setting by the river. It is clean, quiet and friendly and an easy drive to get there from Launceston and surrounding areas.

Spent three nights here it's the nicest spot we've been so far. Nice, quiet and peaceful location
