A warm and friendly manageress meets you at check in with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Lovely backdrop with surrounding mountains adding to the vistas. I spent a night in the back packer accommodation, complete with a clean well equipped kitchen area ,and a communal fridge and microwave for those choosing to stay a few days . Hot clean showers and a cosy games room with a large open fire beckon the weary traveler after a long day exploring local mountain walks available. This place is a diamond in the rough and a must stay when passing through.

Friend group of 5 ( 2 couples and a teenager) stayed here for 2 nights in a cabin. The cabin was well appointed, clean and very quiet. We didn't realize that the bed arrangement consisted of 1 double bed and 4 bunk beds which made the sleeping arrangements a little awkward. The bunk beds were a little uncomfortable. As well, access to the shower and toilet is through the bunk bed area!! Would be a great cabin for a family with younger children. Good value for money and an easy drive (45 minutes) to Cradle Mountain National Park. Great staff.

Great spot. Very welcoming lady at reception. Close to so many things at Cradle mountain.Black Stump restaurant with walking distance. Awesome food

Excellent service, very helpful staff who go above in their service quality, and an amazing place for a very affordable price. Definitely a good place for those seeking adventure or hiking! Don't need to drive anywhere to enjoy nature.

The only pet friendly park we could find close to Sheffield & Cradle Mountain. Amenities are new but only 2 unisex toilets, so you may need to line up in the morning.
