Lone Star

Good food and great service! Steak and out a little under.. we were offered an apology and free dessert, left more than happy and actually returned the next night to eat again.

DO NOT EAT HERE! BAD SERVICE DIRTY COOKS BAD FOOD!!! Worst lone star experience let down to all outlets. 10 min wait until someone came to counter and another 10 min wait until they could set up a table on a quiet day, was sitting where we could see the cook wiping sweat off his forehead and then using the same bare hand to grap chips from bowl and serve onto plates, food was yuck smaller meals that other outlets 15 minutes wait on drinks my food came 15 minutes later than everyone elses at my table, again i do not recommend anyone eat at this place.

Nice place with good staff and views from the balcony. Good food selection, but not the highest quality.

This restaurant deserves a 'lone star' indeed. The food was very overpriced for the quantity and quality of the food. For example, I ordered a $38 rib eye steak and was very discontent when a small steak reached my table. Then, it got worse; I cut it open and discovered that it was about 50% inedible fat. I then spoke to the waiter about this and he rudely responded that it is not his problem and did not seek to apologise nor did he offer to compensate us for our loss (that of a valuable $38). Additionally, the bathrooms were putrid, with 2 of the toilets being blocked and filled to the brim with human faeces. While I understand it is the customers who are unhygienic, it is the staff's responsibility to ensure that these facilities are well maintained and looked after. Hopefully the 'Lone Star' reads these comments and takes them on board so as to not rip off more poor consumers who just want a tasty, good quality and affordable meal.

Nice atmosphere but the food delivery can be quite slow. Our kids love the menu but the ice cream sundae they get as part of it is poor compared to Cobb and Co or Dixie Browns. The ribs and other main dishes are very good and desserts are great too.
