We booked this accommodation while planning a trip from Scotland to visit my unwell aunt in Wollongong. When her condition deteriorated, I contacted the host to ask whether free cancellation might be possible, but was advised this could not be accommodated, so we retained the booking.nnShortly afterwards, the escalation in the Middle East led to our flight with Qatar Airways being cancelled, meaning we were no longer able to travel to Australia. I contacted the host again to explain the situation and request cancellation, but this was again declined.nnWe had several accommodation bookings across Australia through Booking.com and Airbnb, and this was the only property unsympathetic to our situation and unwilling to show any flexibility given the circumstances. While I understand hosts operate within set policies, the lack of discretion in an exceptional situation was disappointing. On that basis, I would not choose to book here again in the future.
The manager was very friendly and helpful. The cottage was a basic, older style accommodation and very comfortable. The setting was beautiful. The cabin had a fully enclosed outdoor veranda with beautiful plants everywhere overlooking the water. We loved it and would endeavour to stay anytime in lakes entrance
This place is awesome. The rooms are neat and well maintained. It has a beautiful pool and a good barbecue area. I was put up there by the RACV but the prices are super cheap for the rooms and quality. The only thing that is a downer is there is no spaces for boat trailer storage. I fully recommend this place as a weekend getaway or a week long holiday.
Super friendly owners who will show you to the room and make sure everything is set for you. Well priced for Clean large sized room with a King bed. Having allergies Its always nice to wake up in a spottlessly clean room with no dust. Set on the lake, there is not much more you could ask from a motel.
This motel was a lovely surprise for us when we stayed there in late 2011. Not only was our room overlooking the pool, but it was multilevel and had a separate bedroom for our daughter even though we hasn't asked for it. It was more like an apartment than a motel room and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
