While it’s an older motel, it’s clear that it has been well-maintained, providing a clean and pleasant environment throughout the stay. The queen bedroom was spacious and spotless, with a stunning ocean view that added to the charm of the visit. The bathroom was roomy and well-kept, with all the basic amenities available for a hassle-free experience.nnThe location is very convenient, close to local attractions, and the on-site parking is plentiful and easily accessible. The check-in desk staff were friendly and welcoming, ensuring a smooth and pleasant arrival process.nnThe motel also features a pool, a great addition for warmer days, although we didn’t use it due to the windy and cold weather during our visit. The only minor downside was the inconsistent hot water supply, but it didn’t significantly affect our overall experience.nnBest of all, the motel is economical, offering great value for money without compromising comfort or service. With its old-school charm, beautiful views, and convenient location, Abel Tasman Waterfront Motel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Lakes Entrance.
Phone service was brilliant, location great, room was horrible needs a paint the shower screen didn’t shut properly, the soap holder broken but painted. Like previous reviews have stated, room is out of date and need to restock the kitchen with decent cutlery and utensils. Remove the 1970 paintings and put something fresh and cheerful up on the wall. Replace the curtains freshen the room up.
Old building but spacious rooms that are clean. The hosts are very accommodating. Beds are clean and it's walking distance to town and shops. Would stay here again.
Jay at reception was friendly and prompt with service, I recommend this place to stay.
Great distance from the beach and all the shops and basically any attraction you were planning on heading to. The room felt a little dated and the bathroom should’ve included a door. For the last minute booking and the price it was definitely worth it, but the room could’ve had improvements.
