Not very impressed with the store layout and the lack of pricing for cleanliness of displayed products.nI went to purchase a single type C to type C cable for my phone and they have taken the technology display down from four Isles worth of shelves to one single aisle for all of their technology items and have only one type of each cable to which I found out was $18 for a simple type C to type C cable. There was no prices to be seen on anything and o price checker on that half of the store either. It felt like they were hiding prices on purpose to get you up to the check out and hope you don’t notice how expensive the prices really are for Kmart.nnNot a good look misleading customers while taking away options to once had not long ago.
Very messy store, product all over the floor and shelves. Literally can’t even walk down some isles because there is stock everywhere. Changing rooms are a state. Online will say they have things in stock, but will be completely sold out in store. Staff scanning receipts at the entrance and not even checking what you’ve got is a waste of time.
Tried calling their customer service 3 times. The third time I thought it would be funny to see how long I could stay on dial I was dialing for 10 minutes before I got sick of the ringing sound. Not usually someone to complain but why have a customer service option on your call if your not going give any.
Kmart Albany is the biggest and only Kmart on Auckland’s North Shore, making it super convenient for locals. It’s open until late, which is perfect for last-minute shopping trips.nnLocated inside Westfield Albany, it offers a huge range of products with plenty of options for everyone. The free parking and access to all Westfield amenities, like food courts and restrooms, make the shopping experience even better.nnOverall, a great spot for affordable shopping with the added convenience of being in a well-equipped mall.
Review: Unprofessional and Rude Staff Behavior at KmartnMy recent experience at this Kmart location was deeply disappointing due to shockingly poor staff conduct.nnDuring my visit, an employee named **Jina** older woman, possibly in a supervisory role displayed blatant disregard for customer service. She repeatedly ignored my polite inquiries, refusing to make eye contact or acknowledge my presence. When I attempted to escalate the matter, **multiple female staff members** congregated and engaged in collective unprofessional behavior - interrupting, talking over me, and exhibiting clear group hostility toward a paying customer.nnThis coordinated disrespect from staff members violates basic retail service standards. Such toxic workplace culture directly impacts customer experiences and damages Kmart's reputation. I urge management to:n1 Review CCTV/sales counter footage from [date & approximate time]n2 Provide mandatory customer service training for involved employeesn3 Implement accountability measures for team-wide misconductnnUntil tangible improvements occur, I cannot in good conscience recommend this store to others. Corporate intervention appears necessary to address this systemic issue.
