On several occasions we have used this store for homeware such as dinner sets and other items to suit our home. It carries stock which enables you to buy items that you need to replace when one item of a set is accidentally damaged.
Fols adbertising. By online and collect at the store. And pay a fee . But you are in the store and can not by at the same price.... Must come another day or pay fees or pay at store cimputer but can not collect your goods and must wait for delivery few days weeks ... All wrong.
The home furniture team at Farmers Albany Home were very helpful and informative. They provided great advice on certain sale items and then when the item I purchased failed to fit up the stairs of my home, they bent over backwards to provide solutions. I can’t thank you enough and I am very impressed by Farmer’s customer service, when some other stores may have simply walked away after the sale was made.
I've read a few reviews about the Manager on here, but I'm wondering if some people are getting Farmers Albany and Farmers Albany Home confused? The Manager at Farmers Albany Home is a guy - and can I just say what a professional, switched on, polite and diligent Manager he is. Exceptional customer service, really helped me out after a terrible experience with the extremely rude and incompetent staff at Farmers Silverdale. I have always found Farmers Albany Home staff friendly and helpful too. 10/10 guys!
We had a lovely lady at the CLINIQUE counter who gave me expert advice and her knowledge was appreciated. A happy customer.
If you have to buy furniture from Farmers, at the very least go buy it from another branch. The manager of the furniture department at the Albany Home store has terrible attitude and service. Refused to acknowledge that the product is imperfect, even when compared against the display unit and the new replacement unit. When I finally got my replacement 4 months later, he made a snide comment that I had called too many times. Reality is that i received no updates at all throughout the 4 months and I honestly doubt he even bothered to order a replacement for me. One of the other staff was helpful enough to arrange for me to exchange it with one of their backup stock. If I had not called, I probably would still be sitting waiting for my replacement unit to arrive.

My two friends and I went in for a browse today and one of the workers followed us around and stared at us the whole time so obviously. One of my friends and I are Maori so pretty clear the reason why. Funny though because my outfit cost more than a months worth of his pay. Rude. Don’t go here if you’re not European.
This one star is just for the manager@ albany branch. Really bad shopping experience over there. I mean all of the stuffs are friendly & try to bring happiness to customer. But the “10 years experience manager” seems not happy with Asian or? we spent more then 2000 dollars at once, but she doesn't even know how to smile to the customer. And try to make us feel , the company doesn't need you to spend money there.
