I first visited Kieser Sandringham 6 weeks ago for an old pain that’s stuck around for the last 5 years from pregnancy. I’ve seen multiple health professionals in the past but I just kept getting referred around to different specialists and it ended up costing a fortune and not fixing the issue long term. Since visiting Lauren, one of the physios at Kieser Sandringham I have not only experienced less pain but am feeling more empowered to ensure it doesn’t return given the combo of treatment, strengthening exercises and a follow up plan she has put together. Lauren is lovely and has made me feel very comfortable and Daria and the team have created such a warm and welcoming environment at the centre. I have been able to claim a medicare rebate so the sessions have only been about $45 a pop out of pocket, a fraction of what I’ve been paying others. Highly recommend.
The thorough initial assessment and skilful physiotherapy really help thanks Georghia!!. The ongoing monitoring of technique and progress, the clear advice, explanations and encouragement thanks Deb!!, all under Balu's capable leadership make this gym a valuable part of my health plan. Whoever you are assigned to, you'll be happy- it's rare to find such a strong and harmonious team. The machines and facilities are a pleasure- love the airy feel. I began my healing by building up, over a year, to around 25 km of walking per week. Now I am recovering my strength and overall health at a steady pace as a result of resistance training while also avoiding injury. Kieser training helps you with 'mechanical injuries' but also helps protect you from the insidious metabolic impact of ongoing stress. My doctor is pleased to see the difference Kieser has made in three short months. But it's wiser to use the gym as preventive medicine!! Two- three short sessions a week at a reasonable price: an excellent investment in your well-being.
Been going a few months now after doing their spinal program for my sore lower back. Recommended by a surgeon as an alternative to surgery. It is very different to any other gym I've done. The staff approach and attitude is excellent and the equipment is great. Back is slowly getting better which is very positive.
I hurt my back last week and could hardly walk, through a caring shout out from the wonderful Georghia of Kieser Sandringham I was introduced to Lauren the equally wonderful physiotherapist who has done a magnificent job of getting me nearly pain free and walking again. Couldn't recommend a better facility to go to! Many thanks.
Beware! Inexperienced physiotherapists with poor diagnostic and management skills for major injuries such as shoulder fractures. They also push to upsell to their gym programmes! Find yourself a specialist physiotherapist for your own injuries if you want to get better and not just pay for a massage! The inexperienced staff rely too much on exercise for therapy, rather than manual therapy. Treating symptoms rather than underlying causes. Lacking understanding in their field led to my frozen shoulder and further surgery in an injury my surgeon said almost ‘never’ happens. I was diligent in following Keiser Physio advice to the letter.
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Bryce Damin at Kieser Sandringham. Together with the great concept that is Kieser Physio + Strength Training he helped me achieve my goal of sorting out my knee pain and getting back onto my bicycle. This feedback is long overdue, but not forgotten. I tried many other physios previously at other independent practices; Bryce went above & beyond with genuine phone calls every now and then to check up on my progress - no strings attached. This type of customer service is rare & very much appreciated. I’m sure there will be more old age aches & pains in future - I know who to call when that happens again hopefully not too soon
Newest addition to the Kieser stable, and looks like it has set a new high bar. Balu and staff have made this a welcoming home for those interested in Kieser Training, whether it is 6 am or 8pm. Typical high standard of the hybrid physiotherapy and exercise science approach. I have seen results from Kieser both from a professional and personal viewpoint. Highly recommend it.
The Kieser team are absolutely wonderful at both Sandringham and Brighton. Facilities are state of the art. A special thank you to Georghia whose professionalism as a physiotherapist has helped me get back on my feet again. Would highly recommend Kieser!
