"Apple Store" of basketball is what this shop is. Place feels like 80% shop, 20% museum with all the memorabilia that they have on display. You can pick up basketball shoes that are about to go out of a season at a bargain sometimes. The staff here are helpful and friendly too
Very nice and knowledgeable staff. The man spent a lot of time with my autistic son, helping him and just generally talking to him. A big variety of kicks. Although store a tad dusty. Will definitely be back. My son's new favorite shop in Melbourne
Fantastic little store unbeknown to most, however to shoe collectors and basketball fans this place is a treasure trove of the latest kicks and the best gear you can find. Staff are friendly and have saved me a few times when making purchasing decisions for gifts too.
Totally disgusted with the way we were just treated!!!! As customers who ALWAYS spend way over $500 a visit to fit for 3 boys the way we were just spoken to by staff was disgraceful! After trying on shoes we decided on a pair for my eldest and youngest boys. The gentleman serving us told us the price of the shoes. We go to the register to pay for 2 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of socks. It was rung up at the register A LOT more than what we were told the price of the shoes were. When we questioned it, we were RUDELY told that they had been patient with us and spent most of the day with us .... WE HAD BEEN THERE HALF AN HOUR!!!! Our parking was only for ONE HOUR!!!! They then adjusted the price a little, NOT to what we were originally told the price was, and we were told that's all they can do. If we want it take it or leave it. We were told not to negotiate. We were NOT negotiating! We wanted the shoes AT THE PRICE WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE!!!! Well let me tell you something Kickz101 ... I will now be purchasing my boys shoes at another store. You have lost a customer! If making up your own prices is the way you run a business, you will NOT be getting mine! If you had the prices on the shoes there could be no discrepancy! But you have NO prices on them!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
Not sure if my sons, my partner or I being a normal Mum! weren’t wearing the latest Lebrons, Hardens, Curry’s, KD’s, Kyrie’s or George’s but I have played basketball for 40 years, I coach and my son plays at one of the best representative basketball clubs in Australia. I can say I was very disappointed with the customer service. Needless to say I mentioned that my son had free range on what shoe to buy and had a unlimited budget because he has been through so much this year and has been an absolute champion. He was so excited and even stood looking at the door until it opened at 10.01am. However, it’s seems that the staff weren’t all that enthusiastic to help us at 10am on a Saturday morning after driving into the city especially to check out the range. So we went back to footlocker at Chadstone, bought two pairs of Giannis 1’s, two sets of 3 pair Nike socks and a down ball from Rebel and also a haircut to cover the amount of money I was willing to spend. Maybe next time I will bring in my Reebok Pumps, Jordan’s,, Converse All star socks, body suit and Nicks/bloomers and I might get a little bit of enthusiasm and a little bit more range. One of my sons was in a wheelchair and I would hope that it wasn’t that - although it wasn’t accessible which is pretty common in old buildings in Melbourne. It’s the principle and I won’t be recommending to any of my players in the future.
Fantastic customer service, couldn't be more helpful. Before we arrived at the store we searched the up the website and all shoes with all prices were shown. Only dis is on the website with some NBA t-shirts under two mixed categories which made it a bit harder to find particular shirts. Amazing range of culture and memrobila, 5 stars.
I purchased Jordan Retro 5 Gold medals through Kickz101. they were very helpful and when i received my order with two left sneakers i rang them and they posted the right hand shoe out that day and received it today. overall was a great experience. look Foward to purchasing more sneakers off you guys,
Refused a refund for sneakers unworn and returned promptly. Made me just pay afterpay for a giftcard, even after I politely requested a refund and explained how much business I had sent their way, through my purchases and friends I had recommended them to. Inflexible for the sake of it, and lack of communication bordering on distain. Ruined a customer relationship. Don't buy from them .
As a extreme basketball fan, this was heaven for me!! Huge selection of NBA gear including jerseys, hats, shirts, shooting sleeves, head bands. Also a nice selection of basketball shoes and balls as well. I'd say the best basketball shop their is in Melbourne.
