Infinity Pilates Studio

I have very much enjoyed my Pilates. I able to enter an increased state of mindfulness during a class and begin to feel the preciseness and to some degree the spirituality of the discipline. I am not naturally athletic so it was a challenge for me to recognise what muscles and body parts were supposed to be doing what. In many ways I had to unravel a life time of poor movement habits to then re-learn and strengthen my body to respond to my environment more efficiently and comfortably. It is hard to put into words how Kerrie and Paul at Infinity Pilates have totally transformed the relationship I have with my mind, body and spirit! I came out of an 8 month stint in a wheel chair ,where I had lost all confidence in my body, to slowly and surely tone, strengthen and begin to trust my body through the Pilates work I did with Kerrie. Over the past 13 years I have been coming to Pilates once or twice a week and I can honestly say I now feel the fittest and happiest I ever have, within my 52 year old body! Kerrie has an incredible capacity to 'read' every body that walks into the studio and provide us all (whether one to one or in group classes) with individual strategies and Pilates movements for optimal strength, powerful movement and deep body wisdom. After a self-imposed 8-10 year absence from practising Pilates under the care of Paul (and Kerrie before him), I was happy to find them working together again at Infinity and got back on the horse last year. Their expertise and caring is second to none; My strength and flexibility have returned in a relatively short space of time and I feel better and better after each session. The real proof in the pudding is the change in body shape - and my chiropractor remarking in my strong back muscles! I find that their dedication encourages my dedication.

It's no overstatement to say going to Infinity has changed my life. I had complications from knee surgery which cascaded into other mobility issues and had tried so many things. But working with Paul, my symptoms are always improving. It's not overnight, it's a healing journey, but I'm so grateful for the instant relief I get from each session, and on a deeper, enduring level, the growing understanding of my body and the growing strength of it. Taking what I learn and gain into life outside the studio, I walk better, sit better, sleep better and look better. And I really look forward to going!

This is a fantastic Pilates studio. I have been a client for years and would highly recommend Infinity to anyone. The staff are absolutely amazing
