Fitness First St Kilda

This gym has just one flat, one incline and one decline for barbell press. It could have fit more benches for the barbell press for peak time usage. There are 4 configured squat racks / dead lift area. This could be used as benches if no one is using it. It could have fit more range of machine. The cardio equipment should have installed on the ground level so it has sufficient space for a good range of gym equipment

I have been a member of Fitness First for many years now. It's sad to see this particular FF club go downhill. The group fitness room is VERY HOT in the evenings and they say it's because maintenance has not organised the correct times for the AC to go on. There were 4 fans in the room - one broke a year ago , and after many months of complaining they still have not replaced it. They are putting minimum number of people per class ( 15) before they will then chop that class completely. Surely 10 people is enough to continue a class- our membership more than pays for the instructors. I have seen my favourite Yoga teacher leave and if they keep cutting group fitness classes , so will I and all my family. Disappointed.

Poor experience. Sorry FF but if you offer free weeks trial you should expect people to come to try it out without pinning them down to pay for a membership before even one use. Wasn't even impressed with the gym when I was there. It was busy, dirty and no AC. I won't be back and I certainly won't be paying for a membership. Never felt so unwelcomed

Ive been going every week for 2 months and can confidently say the club is overcrowded and unfriendly. Staff don't bother to acknowledge you and are too engrossed in their own conversations. Opening hours are too short too. Go somewhere else.

High costing centre with such limited hours and very little availability for weekends / public holidays
