Worst customer service ever. I went this place yesterday and the guy who operating machine was working by himself. He was servicing one car and I waited to the staff on the spot where used to choose option and pay. He signed to me come forward to close. I moved car there slowly and opened the window. He started yelling “this is my place, you need follow my direction, you need move fast” and he grabbed steering wheel and yelled me again how to move into the machine. He hands was wet dirty.And keep angry to move fast into the machine. I wonder what happen if my car hit the machine. Also, there was not even one car behind me as cloudy weather yesterday morning. Didn’t expect best service and care but Never recommend or go back. That experience ruined my whole morning.
I’ve used the IMO Car Wash at North Strathfield for as long as I can remember it being there, trying both the automated wash and the manual bays. The pricing used to be quite reasonable, though it’s definitely been creeping up lately.nnI’m always a bit cautious with the automated wash, as that type can potentially scratch the paint, especially on darker or more sensitive finishes. The manual wash gives more control, but it’s not the most intuitive setup. Clearer instructions would go a long way, especially for first time users. The first time I used it, I wasn’t sure how to end the process, but fortunately I figured it out quickly enough to avoid being overcharged.nnOn weekends, the place gets very busy and could really benefit from being larger to match the demand. That said, it must be a great money maker for the owners.nnOverall, it does the job, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially in user guidance and managing the weekend rush.
I’ve been a regular customer at the IMO car wash, 213 - 217 Parramatta Road, Strathfield location for the past five years. After every long drive, I make it a point to bring my car here, primarily to remove bugs and grime from the front and windscreen. I always choose the same wash option and have consistently been happy with the results—until today.nnUnfortunately, the service this afternoon was disappointing. The staff member on duty, a slim Indian man wearing glasses, skipped the usual pre-wash and brushing steps that are typically part of the service I pay for. I drove around to speak with him directly, but instead of listening to my concern, he was rude, stared me down, and became argumentative. I had to ask him at least six times to call the manager.nnWhen the manager, Vinay, finally came out, his attitude was no better. He insisted the wash had been done properly and then tried to upsell me a more expensive package that I didn’t ask for.nnSadly, this experience has left me questioning whether I’ll return to this car wash again.
The car wash itself did a decent job, but the staff ruined the entire experience. As a first-time customer, I wasn’t familiar with the process and expected some guidance. Instead, I was met with rudeness. The staff member actually said, “don’t act like you don’t understand,” which was both unhelpful and disrespectful.nnGood machines can’t make up for poor customer service. With that attitude, I won’t be returning and definitely wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.
I’ve been here before and the staff usually seemed in a rush — the prewash was just a quick spray and not very thorough. But today was a totally different experience! The staff member working, even though he was busy, took the time to properly prewash the car — including the windows and wheels. The car came out really clean. If this level of service stays consistent, I’d be happy to keep coming back. Highly recommend!
