I’ve been a loyal customer of Hoyts Erina for years. The old cinema had numerous issues, including uncomfortable day beds, seats that were uncomfortable, and an unappealing entry layout. I’m thrilled to see that they’ve completely renovated the cinema. The new layout and seats are fantastic, and the day bed I tried was incredibly comfortable—a significant improvement over the old one. However, upon opening the center part of the day beds, I noticed a lot of mess. Definitely needs a thorough cleaning.nnI also noticed a significant safety hazard. There was a hole in the hallway wall that a child could easily squeeze there hand through, posing a safety hazard. I’ve attached a photo to illustrate my point.nnApart from this and the cleaning issue, I highly recommend the new renovated cinema. It’s a 9/10 from me.

I absolutely love catching a movie at Hoyts Erina whenever I get the chance! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and the cinema itself is spotless every time I visit. It’s so modern and inviting – I’m really impressed. The seats are super comfy, recline perfectly, and there’s plenty of legroom, making it a fantastic experience. I also love the extra options like the D-BOX, where the seats move, and the Xtremescreen, which really adds to the movie magic. Definitely my go to cinema!

Nice and clean main foyer, well laid out to speed up ticket and refreshments purchases. Now with all cinemas upgraded to recliners, there's so much more space to enjoy and relax. With the extra space, no more disruption when others pass by on your aisle with room to walk past even while reclined. Great experience and great sound makes it worth seeing it on the big screen!

Nice new cinema experience.  And now there is a bar that serves alcohol. No tap beer but still ok. $10.50 for a Jb and coke. They pour it into plastic for you.....yay.nIt's all self serve popcorn and soda drinks mostly, though the bar will serve mixers.nEverything is so modern now. The extreme  screen experience  is great too, great picture and sound quality. It is better than watching from a big screen at home for the big budget Hollywood movie. I saw Black Adam.

Today I made a special trip up to Hoyts at Erina through absolutely nightmare traffic. I went to the counter because I’m really after a ticket for complete unknown author, Bob Dylan saga and the girl on the counter, her eyes forget just going round and round and round in circles. When I asked her about it she goes who’s that about, and I said Bob Dylan, it’s his life story, we don’t have any movie coming up like that I said, can you please just go and ask her manager when it is showing so she got on the phone to her manager. She took a couple of minutes to look it up and he said that it’s not showing 18 January I said are you sure? Yes 18 January you can’t buy any tickets until then Well I have just seen an advertise meant for the movie and it’s opening up on Christmas day. Tickets are available then so I just got a completely wasted morning trying to fight my way through traffic to Hoyts just to speak to some idiot at the front counter, she doesn’t know shit
