Great to see the smaller cinemas still around. Reasonably priced tickets and a fair few movies to pick from. Atmosphere is great with plenty of character/paintings around the whole venue. Surprisingly they fit 6 cinema screens in. There are a few restaurants and cafes downstairs for lunch or dinner depending when you visit.
Cinema Paradiso is a unique venue at Ettalong Beach. It's prices for admission tickets and snacks are very reasonable. The sorbet and gelato on offer is delicious. Staff are friendly. We should support this local business and the surrounding businesses located in the Galleria.
18/05/24 - just attended 'Wicked Little Letters' in Cinema 4 upstairs. Film.... OK. But when you see a move, there are two main elements - the visuals, and the sound. Right now C4's sound system is 100% fried! Cinema Paradiso really should NOT be charging people good money to see ANYTHING in C4 till they fix the sound!! Center channel dialogue has been diverted to a small speaker, high on the wall to the left, 5m back from the screen. It also sounds like ALL the main front speakers are cooked. Really, FIX THIS, or close C4 till you have. God help it if you saw a blockbuster in there! It couldn't even cope with something as light weight as WLL.
The most spectacular cinema to go to in design and comfort the architecture is amazing and their doing MORE NEW renovations!!!
I love Cinema Paradisio. It is one of my favourite places on the central coast. I do think it’s haunted in the actual cinemas but that just makes me love it so much more! I highly recommend coming to see a movie here or dining in one of the restaurants or having a look around the many incredible shops!!!
