Love this shop many great items for household
Have shopped here regularly within the last six months. Purely out of convenience as we love Bunnings. Multiple times being treated badly until the team member realised we were not just spending a small amount. We had been dismissive of this due to the fact that we were buying quality products for our home however this last visit has definitely set in stone the fact we will not return. We ordered and payed for a shelving unit and were informed it would arrive the following week on the Thursday. Well two weeks later we were once again in the area and decided to pop in to see what was going on as we had not been contacted by the store, only to go in and discover they had sold the one on the floor in which we were told wasn’t an option and that ours won’t be here till the end of September at the earliest by some of the most condescending staff I’ve seen.
Didnt have the item in store i saw online but the had similar product but had to pay a lot more
I had a truly terrible experience at this store yesterday. I am a regular customer here but I won’t be returning again. I asked the shop assistant if I bought a heavy product would I be able to get it carried to the car for me as I have a muscle disorder which hinders me considerably. I was advised that if I waited in my car the lady would bring it out when she had finished serving customers. I waited over 10mins and then returned to the store to ask what the delay was as I observed no new customers going in so I knew they weren’t busy. The lady was standing inside at the window obviously watching me in the car and said she couldn’t find me. This was an out right lie as the other shop assistant weighed in and said I was on the phone in the car. Yes I was on the phone ringing the doctors to say I would be running a little late because of the situation unfolding. The shop assistant continued on to make more excuses and to say she wasn’t allowed away from the front of the store to walk 50 m to where I was parked and continued to smirk and shake her head in a very condescending manner. I was completely at her mercy and feeling extremely vulnerable because of my medical condition and she played on that. She made me get back in the car and drive right up to the front door of the shop before she would put the box in my car. I hope the owners of this shop know who they have working for them and the patronage they have just lost. I left Howards very upset and I feel sorry for anybody that is served by this cruel lady coincidentally she didn’t have her name tag on.
An amazing range of things to make your home more streamlined in the storage game. We bought three clothes units recently..very handy clean and practical. I love just wandering around. Oh yes and they have in stock collapsible suitcase stands...same as in hotels. Make you guest comfortable when that suitcase is accesible.
This place is great if you want to be organised! Ive finally fixed my pot n pans draw and my baming trays now have standing space! Live it and thats to the very helpful assistanr at Maroochydore!
Always a pleasure shopping at Howard's Storage World. Friendly staff happy to chat and help you with your purchases. A very good loyalty program and the parking is extremely ample.
