It didn’t start well when we were given the key to a room that hadn’t been made up; but this was quickly rectified and drink vouchers kindly given as recompense. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable with casting and USB charging, and excellent showers. Breakfast is simple but filling. Not a bad choice for a night in the city.

Awww how sweet are these guys, when I got to my room, there was a beautifully written Thankyou card waiting for me. That's huge & really personalises your stay, making you a name not a number.nI loved my stay here, the rooms are amazing, the views are incredible & it's walking distance to everything you want to see in Brisbane.nVery modern, very eco friendly, very clean & hygienic, private rooms for meetings, get togethers, etc, friendly staff, loads of parking, & wifi. The rooms are really well equipped with everything you need including hairdryer etc.nThe only little gripes I have, are...n1/ the fridges are really small & won't take a 750mil bottle upright.n2/ If you advertise that you have Chromecast, then it should be available, because guests like me look for that, especially if there's no in-house movies available.n3/ Breakfast should be explained better on check-in, so guests don't miss out & have to go find breakfast.nOther than that, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone. I would definitely stay there again, & fully intend to

Nice hotel located an easy walk to the valley, riverside or the mall.  Entry looks really fresh, room is good size, great view out of the enormous floor to ceiling window.  Fantastic bathroom and comfy bed.  Included breakfast was awesome

My partner had to come to brisbane for work and so i figured i would join him for a few days and get a chance to stay in the city of brisbane and stay in a nice hotel.nnWhile the location is ideal, the room was extremely small. I know we would usually expect this, we couldn’t fit 2 luggage bags. There was an immediate muggy smell in the room. We weren’t sure what it was but we figured it might be the fact that there are no windows that can be opened or a fan in the bathroom.nnThe bathroom is very invasive and can see through it which can be a bit uncomfortable.nnThe bed was comfy, but i don’t like the idea of there being no top sheet. Especially considering hotels donMt always wash the quilts and just change sheets over.nnThe staff were mainly friendly, however when we got in late saturday night we asked what room service was like. The menu suggests there is a 24 hour service but the staff member said he did not want to turn on the deep fryer that he had already turned off. There was only pizza and toasties that did not require the deep fryer. To quote the staff “i wouldn’t bother getting the pizza. Dominoes is a better pizza. You can get that on ubereats and i can’t be bothered cooking”.

Wow. What a great find. We visit the Sporties twice a year and usually stay at an establishment just next door. Never again. Holiday Inn Express is awesome. Right from check-in to the clean room with a view and delicious breakfast. Winner winner...
