Very quick checkin and valet parking was great. The rooms and ammenities are fantastic and love the use of softer lighting through lamps instead of sterile white lights. Clean and tidy hotel which if you like airconditioning has very cold options which is fantastic for hot days. Staff were wonderful and I had no issues whatsoever.

Exceptional Stay at Sofitel BrisbanennFrom the moment I arrived at Sofitel Brisbane, the experience was exceptional. The service was warm, polished and genuinely welcoming, setting the tone for a memorable stay. The rooms were beautifully appointed — modern, spacious, impeccably clean, and highlighted by the signature Sofitel attention to detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in any hotel.nnThe location is ideal, with easy access to Brisbane’s CBD, transport and dining options, yet the atmosphere inside remains calm and luxurious. The hotel’s restaurant and lounge delivered quality and flavour at every turn, and the vibe was a standout — fresh, diverse and indulgent.nnEvery staff interaction reflected true professionalism and care. Whether it was concierge, reception or restaurant service, the team consistently went above and beyond.nnA superb hotel experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone wanting comfort, class and genuine hospitality in Brisbane. I will absolutely stay again.

After reading some of the other Google reviews, I was a little worried that this Sofitel would be a disappointment. But I am happy to report that the hotel is exceptionally well-maintained and feels like luxury. The beds, pillows, and sheets are very comfortable. Even the complimentary slippers are extra cozy, which is a nice touch. The towels are a tad well used but clean.nnThe breakfast buffet was wonderful and well worth it. Lots of options and delicious. We really enjoyed the fresh pastry/bread, creamy eggs, and green veggies. Kids under 12 eat free, which makes it good value for families.nnHonestly, some of the Accor hotels I’ve stayed at in Australia have been subpar, so it was definitely a pleasant surprise to be able to experience the classic French sophistication of Sofitel.

Staff are amazing and very welcoming. Attention to detail is key. Rooms are spotless. Fabulous location.nnUnfortunately, the restaurant, Suzette where we had lunch did not live up to the same standards in the food department. We chose the club sandwich specifically for the Brie but chef left the Brie off the sandwich. We were given 2 slices of Brie and an apology.nThe wait staff were fabulous though.nnI hope Sofitel brings back their seafood buffet or adds more options to the menu at Suzette, the menu needed a bigger French feel to it.

Positives:  Our room was spacious and fairly well appointed. It's good that the bathroom still had a bath.nThe hotel is located in the centre of town above the station, so the location is excellent. The lifts were fast.  There are two glass drink dispensers in the foyer, which provide something cold to drink on a hot day.nnAs gold Accor members we received a bottle of champagne, which was very pleasing.nnNegatives:  One of the drawers in the mini bar hadn't been cleaned. The fridge in our room had been turned off and was leaking water because of melting ice.nnAccor sent an email asking for our preferences, one of which was to have the AC turned off on arrival due to allergies, but this wasn't done.nnThe toilet was old and one of the buttons wasn't working. The room in general, and especially the bathroom, is a bit outdated.nnSometimes you can hear the trains, so better soundproofing would be helpful.
