The staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. I received an upgrade for my room and a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival. Wow - never had that before! I was also attending a conference in the hotel and the facilities were great. Also super close within walking distance to premium shopping and dining options. The room and bed were really comfortable and I had a great view from my window. Thank you!

We have stayed here a few times in the past couple of years and it’s always excellent. Lovely, warm service from reception to the bar to the restaurant. The valet parking is so handy in the city, we have the car parked then walk or uber everywhere. Lovely cocktails and easy food in the bar is our favourite way to start a long weekend. Lovely clean rooms and always such comfortable bed. The pool area was clean and the pool lounges were comfortable and more than enough for the number of people there.

We had a pleasant stay in the centre of Brisbane. The room was large, the service was generally very good. However the overall feel of the hotel was not up to expectation for a Sofitel. It was very busy at times. The restaurants had very limited food choices - almost no vegetarian. The club lounge was nice but very busy with very limited table service - no tea was served, it was all help yourself. It just didn't match the price point, especially that the housekeeping was so poor. I came back to the room one day and my suitcase was on the floor with a chair being displaced and not returned. They also didn't refill the nespresso pods during the 4 day stay. When I called housekeeping about this, they came with tea bags. There was also no turn down service. Overall the stay was pleasant, but it just didn't match the price point or the expectation for a Sofitel - which should be luxury rather than pleasant. We enjoyed our stay but will look for somewhere else to stay in the city next time.

[Note: Sorry room a little messy, photos taken after use of room]nnLoved our stay at the Sofitel Brisbane, we were travelling with our 9 year old, so we required a separate area for him. The Sofitel were able to accommodate us in a one bedroom suite, with a trundle in the living room. Beds were comfortable, the pillows were too soft for us, but they have the option for a firm pillow at the concierge. Location was central to everything in the cbd. We utilised the scooters which you could hire using an app to move around the city some days - highly recommend, they were cheap and easy to use. The pool and gym was awesome as well, we used both daily. We would stay at the Sofitel again! The buffet breakfast was amazing, so many options with a huge variety to offer and coffee orders or other drinks were included as well - important for us soy drinkers.nnHUGE APPRECIATION to ALPHA who worked in the buffet breakfast every morning during our stay. She was extremely accommodating, her hospitality was above and beyond. She remembered our coffee orders every morning. Were loved her energy and her friendly nature. The Sofitel are so lucky to have an employee like Alpha, she is a huge asset to the team.nnThank you Sofitel!

Top, central location. However, for 5 Stars Accor Hotel chain I expect very much more. Rooms are old and worn out. You can see stains on the carpets, in rhe sink and shower. Bed is comfortable, but cleanliness of the rooms could be much better. An upgrade/renovation of the rooms would be well needed. I would rate the rooms an average 3 stars but not more.nStaff is friendly and the lobby looks nice. The location right at the trainstation is very convenient and within walking distance to many attractions.
