We were lucky to have our room upgraded to one with both ocean and river views. The staff were very friendly and even took our luggage to the room. They were especially kind to children and gave them small gifts. The hotel’s swimming pool and spa were excellent, and it’s conveniently close to the light rail and shopping centre. There’s a Woolworths just downstairs, and the beach is only about 200 metres away. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
Staff were excellent, friendly service and very efficient. Food was excellent, both the food at buffet breakfast and from the bar menu. Pool was on the cool side but nice spot to wind down after hours at a conference - shame it doesn't get afternoon sun. Room was clean and spacious. Location was great as it is in the city centre and lots of shops, restaurants and bars in walking distance.
It was such a good stay. It was short but perfect. I would highly recommend some of the staff's. They were so amazing first the person who checked me in Mr Alec at the front desk he was such a awesome guy and so down to earth person. The second person is the F&B Manager Mr Derick what a awesome person hes service and warm welcome was highly appreciated and so good to believe.. thank you guys for make my stay a unforgettable
I stayed at the Sofitel Brisbane Central for one night in July 2025. The hotel, located at Central Station, is conveniently reached on the airtrain from Brisbane airport and a short walk to the Brisbane River. Although I arrived a bit early, my room was ready and I was greeted warmly at reception. The room was comfortable and quiet. It was well set up for work with a desk and plenty of space. I had lunch at Bistro Suzette. The steak in my steak sandwich was underdone and they were happy to redo it. The bed and pillows were comfy and allowed for a refreshing sleep. There was a good selection of items at the breakfast buffet, like a mango smoothie. The staff throughout the hotel provided professional and efficient service. They were very accommodating. I was very happy with my stay and felt that the hotel catered well for a work stay, while offering a touch of old school luxury and service at the same time.
The room facility is not as new as other new open hotels but the services and convenience are perfect. I will recommend and love to stay here again.nnThe front deck people are really nice and help us a lot. The receptionists at the breakfast area are really ingenious. The room is quiter than most of other hotels that I stayed before.nnFantastic and amazing experience to stay here for a week.
