The rooms were perfect and cozy. Lots of space for our stuff .the service was great too. We were able to get dinner served up to our room! It tasted really yummy and nice as well The view was good too although it didn’t show the cars going by. I like seeing cars go by. But I guess that doesn’t really matter does it? The movies were good. although I didn’t like how we had to pay for them. Overall for a one night stay pretty good! It was good how you got to stand over the railing and look down. Nice view. Cute plants too. Shopping centre was right next to it too which was handy. Elevators were fun . Overall best hotel I’ve ever been to.
The service and location are excellent. THE PILLOWS ARE DREADFUL. One incredibly high pillow and the other as flat as a pancake. I have woken up with pain in my neck and shoulders. Very old fashioned TV from the 90s. Don't think they make TV'S that small anymore. I wouldn't normally care but 3 nights of this is rather uncomfortable. Hilton hotel should be better than my home, not less comfortable. After all it is considered a 5 star luxury hotel.
Being a Hilton Honors member means room upgrades free breakfast etc.nI now actively seek out hiltons worldwide. It’s a great loyalty scheme with very real benefits compared to the likes of some frequent flyers schemes!nGreat location close to restaurants and shopping malls. Staff very good.nAmazing atrium area with a bar restaurant in it.nThe gym is neat although on one bike.nThe breakfast area is large enough but felt cramped when peak times. The omelette was great too.
Booked in for two nights stay it had been pretty ordinary but to my disappointment when I reached for breakfast for which I had paid as additional at discounted price. Gentlemen was not not dressed in Hotel attire or with name tag abruptly approached me & said Breakfast finished 10 am. Some how I felt myself being looked down being of Indian origin as I have had similar sort of interaction in Broadbeach. I requested if I could have any small break fast but he declined nothing after 10 am no Sir or anything polite. I requested girls at reception one them had name tag Pat who politely said she couldn't do anything. I requested to speak to manager then Pat offered to send packed break fast in room.nTo my surprise it felt like they are kidding me as no one in room would eat that as it was more or less package to eat in train or bus or in Taxi.nI had a busy day ahead so got on with my schedule as I had some meetings on phone. Just on same time I go a message came from Joey asking me to rate our of 1 to 5 so I messaged her I rate Hilton to Zero as how I have been mistreated.Joey was quiet kind and arranged a phone can from Ashley.nAshley was very polite & professional to hand an irate client. Ashley patiently listened to me which made me bit calm. Ashley offered me upgrade my room & free drinks & canopies between 6pm to 8pm To my surprise there is no difference in both rooms but original was on 12th floor but this one is on 21st floor.nHope Hilton management wakes up to themselves & ensure staff are trained to service with diligence.
There is no free parking!Please reserve parking spaces around in advance.Otherwise, the hotel will charge $58 a night.nnDear Management Team,nnI am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. In comparison to my experiences at other establishments, particularly on the Gold Coast, I encountered several issues:nn1. Room Condition: The room I stayed in appeared old and emitted a noticeable musty odor, which was far from satisfactory. I expected a clean, comfortable, and modern accommodation.nn2. Service Attitude: The attitude displayed by the receptionist when I inquired about parking fees was exceptionally impatient. As a guest, I anticipate respectful and courteous treatment, rather than indifference.nn3. Lack of Scenic View: Compared to other five-star hotels, I noticed the absence of a beautiful river view.nnI spent a similar amount of money but did not enjoy a beautiful river view. Coupled with various unpleasant experiences, it completely tarnished the wonderful impression I had from my stay at the Hilton hotel on the Gold Coast. Why didn't I choose the Marriott hotel or another option instead?nnFloor:1604 WU 30/3/2024
