Why such a low rate? The location is outstanding. The staff are kind and helpful. Oh...but the building itself is starting to fall apart and they’re doing major construction. I had to be moved to three different rooms because of peeling ceiling paint, broken toilets, and loud construction sounds. The room they finally moved me to is in decent shape, but features a scaffolding for a view and a letter to keep my blinds drawn just in case. If you can look past these issues, its not a bad spot (but someone please change the elevator music!!!). Should be 3 stars, but the staff have done everything they can to make my stay work.

Good solid 4 star business-focused  hotel right beside King George Square in the Brisbane CBD. The corridors and some of the common areas are a bit tired and dated but most areas and the rooms have had fairly recent refurbishment.
The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The staff are well trained, friendly and helpful. Usually the prices are good value and compare well with other similar level hotels in the area.

The hotel lobby was clean and nice, staff were friendly. Room was dated and not very clean. Great location.

We stayed here for our 40th anni. The staff were so hospital n friendly n our room was spotless. The best mattress..no sore back. We even got a bottle of wine n chocolates to help us celebrate.  Very special.  I highly recommend to stay here. So close to everything.

Second time at this place in a month. Chips were over cooked. Had a “salad” that was tomatoes and chicken. Music too loud to be able to talk without yelling. Very overpriced. The five of us will definitely not be going back. Such a shame because close to where we all work.
