We have found our favorite hotel. Can't complain about anything. We arrived early after disembarking from a cruise in Brisbane so we could store our luggage. We knew we couldn't check in until 3:00pm and did expect to get in early, but not long after we received an appreciated phone call from the lovely lady we spoke to at reception to say our room was ready and we were welcome to back and complete our check in. We were quickly given our room key and went to our room where our bags were already there waiting for us. The room was spotless, and view was amazing. The bed was the most comfortable we had slept in, in our whole holiday.nIn the morning, we went down for breakfast, and that too was the best breakfast we'd had for our whole holiday. I am gluten intolerant and it great to be told, by another lovely lady who greeted us, that there was a gluten free section which included bread with separate toaster, delicious muffins and cereals. All other items in the buffet were clearly marked. There was plenty to choose from.nOur only regret was that we didn't stay longer in this hotel. We will definitely be back. We can highly recommend this hotel, perfect location, great friendly staff, spotless room and the most comfortable bed.
The cafes food was amazing.nThe buffet breakfast was amazing.nOur room was so spacious, we loved it! It was more like an apartment.nThe bed was very comfortable and roomy. The bathroom had four towels between two of us which was a nice surprise.nThe room also had a fully stocked mini bar and coffee machine.nThe room was soundproof and the aircon was nice and cold. Also great block out curtains.nWe have found our new go to place for stays in Brisbane.nCar parking was easy and affordable.
This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room they gave us had a broken kettle and the TV didn’t work. They had a towel in the fridge for some reason, which I still don’t understand. The bedspread was dirty, and when I asked reception to change it, no one came to replace it !!!nWe stayed there for 3 days, and after showering and drying our hair, hair strands were left in the bathroom. I asked them to clean our room, but throughout the entire stay, the cleaning staff never once swept the floor to pick up the hair.nThe hotel is terriblenWhen we arrived, they took a $100 deposit, and now it’s been about two weeks since our trip, and they still haven’t refunded itnThe location is good, but the hotel is really awfulnI wouldn’t recommend it.
I attended the hotel for work trip, Found the service very friendly in the bars, the downstairs ground level had really nice coffee for the morning but furniture needs an update, buffet breakfast was excellent and loved the outdoor seating, I did use the gym once it was ok but a bit dated.nWhilst there my only real complaint was one of my rooms a/c was not working or faulty and had to request it be looked at which took the day to resolve, overall the hotel was fantastic and would stay again. I would advised though the front desk does more to promote the in house facilities here as it was only due to wanting a quiet weekend in the hotel that I found the great food and services on offer otherwise I could have easily eaten and had drinks elsewhere.
Solid gym, certainly enough equipment to get a good workout in while your on holidays. Central location close to everything. Rooms are clean and classy. Good price. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
