This was our accommodation during our stay in Brisbane. I had previously stayed at Meriton in Sydney, which is why I chose Meriton Brisbane.nnThe check-in process was easy, but the room did not meet expectations. There was a strange smell throughout the room from the moment we arrived. The bathroom was very compact, with the shower and bathtub combined. We were also informed that there was no housekeeping service. When I requested some toiletries, the service was very slow. I was told there was only one staff member for the entire building, and if I was in a hurry, I could come and collect the items from the reception myself.nnI expected a great stay, but it turned out to be average compared to Meriton Sydney. I would say it wasn’t really worth the money spent.
Rooms are decent, however cleanliness wasnt what you expect of a Meriton.nDishwasher smelt like something died in it & washing machine didn’t work.nDid let them know it was rectified upon my return that afternoon.nOverall experience was good, just needs a better clean
Great location. Friendly and efficient staff. Lovely comfy bed. Great living area.nStayed in Room 804. I feel the shower and bathroom floor were in need of a bottle of exit mould, bleach and a scrubbing brush.nWill possibly stay again but request not this room until bathroom thoroughly cleaned or revamped.
We had a lovely visit, the best bed and pillows. It had everything we needed- and walking distance to the location we came for. Would have loved some face washers, but that’s something small.n
Love the location, the view, the quiet and the comfortable room. Checking in however, some staff don't smile, don't welcome you and pretty much show they don't care with their body language. The pool also is supposed to be heated. Cold as. Why would an indoor pool with no sun be not heated?
