Excellent apartment hotel. Generous rooms which are exceptionally well appointed. Very comfy bed, great shower and kitchenette. Pool facilities are tremendous, highly recommended. Aircon in the room is excellent and much needed as the external floor area is quite warm. Staff are delightful and very attentive. Lovely view over to Storey Bridge. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and a minimart downstairs. Parking/driveway to the rear of the hotel is excellent.
Our experience in the beginning was amazing and loved the room and the staff until we had accidentally lost one of our room keys telling the front desk and a lady gave us a new one but unfortunately did not deactivate the key and we did not know we had to ask for it to deactivate and our room GOT BROKEN INTO AND THEY STOLE ITEMS FROM US, police were notified and the front desk lady Cathy was amazing in helping but it’s ridiculous that we aren’t the first to loose a room key and the First Lady who replaced our room key didn’t deactivate the others for our safety, it appears not everyone in the hotel cares for their guests safety. They are lucky we don’t have lots of money because the wrong person could have done worse things to the reputation of the hotel. We will not be coming back and hope the Meriton fixes their priorities about the security and safety of guests full heartedly
My Wife and I stayed here for one night. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and the location was quite good. However, two of the pillow cases and the bedding had an undeniable body odor smell. We had to remove these from the bed entirely as it was very strong.
I spent two wonderful nights in room 6304, a two bedroom spacious apartment with spectacular views of Story Bridge! Harry at Reception gave me a warm welcome after a weary day of travelling.The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great. The kitchen provided six of everything, including wine and champagne glasses! There was a coffee pod machine and little milk was provided too which is always a nice touch especially if you arrive late at night. Washing machine and dryer! Lots of toiletries, washing up liquid and even some washing detergent was also provided. A perfect spot in Brisbane, bus stops close by, with Sip Sip coffee, a small supermarket and Wineology also close by. It was a perfect end to our Australian holiday and I would definitely stay there again.
Stayed here for the first time normally stay at the one on herschel street as this was cheaper this time around. Room was clean , no real major issues can tell has some wear but can't complain price was good for a long weekend and a 5 star hotel. Service was good , long line when checking in but greeted with a smile. Location still handy , 15 minute walk to central train station. Would recommend if needing to stay in the city.
