Always fabulous at the Meriton Adelaide street we love and ask for altitude suite with river view. You know the place will be impeccably clean and the beds very comfortable the place is fitted out with quality fixtures and fittings. River views and city lights are spectacular from here. Walking distance to many fine riverside restaurants and bars and the botanical Gardens. Quality part of the city for location. See views below.

The absolute worst hotel customer service experience we’ve ever had.nGiving them 1 star feels too kind.nDo yourself a favour and avoid at all costs - it’s a horribly staffed hotel, and should not be considered a 5 star establishment as it couldn’t be further from the truth.nNia at reception who we had the misfortune of dealing with at check in is the most blatantly rude, unprofessional, obnoxious, arrogant hotel employee we’ve ever come across. She lacks any kind of customer service or basic communication training or skill.nMerely trying to use a digital card for the security bond, she kept blatantly insisting on a physical card despite repeatedly telling her we didn’t have one - only in the end after arguing with her about it for approx 20mins for her to “check with a supervisor” and be told a digital card is fine.nWe booked the 3bed altitude suite for 6 people for an 18th birthday - she was blatantly rude and obnoxious to all guests upon check in, which ultimately ruined a large part of their stay because of the misfortune of having to encounter her.nThe suite was fine and view was the one redeeming trait of the visit. Still not enough to make the over priced cost, or absolute lack of customer service from staff worth it though.nChoose somewhere else - plenty of better options in the city.
Check in went as you would expect. Arrive to the room, to our surprise dirty sheets still on the dining table. Ring reception and they sent someone straight away. All they did was take the sheets. No cleaning of the table. Definitely not eating there. The floors look as if they haven't been cleaned. The cleanliness of the apartment was the worst I've seen.
Spacious and Stunning Views!nnWe stayed as a group of five, and the room was incredibly spacious - perfect for families or larger groups. Our room was on the 66th floor facing the riverside, and the view was absolutely gorgeous, both during the day and at night.nnThe in-room washing machine and dryer were a huge plus, especially for families staying a few days. While there’s no housekeeping service during the stay, the overall comfort and amenities made up for it.nnWe also appreciated being accommodated for an early check-in, which made our arrival much smoother. Highly recommended!
