Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Brisbane

Our favourite place to stay in Brisbane . Amazing location close to river with breathtaking views of Storey Bridge which looks particularly stunning at night when lit. Love the hotel's proximity to the Valley and Chinatown - so many eateries! Love the view from the spa and pool area. Staff smiley and friendly. Rooms clean with everything you need including kitchenette with sink, microwave and fridge. We always look forward to staying here. Pics are of room 714.

Sensational view of Brisbane and the bridge. Pretty ordinary facilities. Rusty fridge. Water hammer on one toilet and malfunction on the other. Highly variable room service. One day we're waiting 45 mins for an ironing board (because the one in the room is broken). Next day, its 5 minutes for some beers. Shower screen clearly hasn't been cleaned properly in months. But the view just about makes up for it. We were in the penthouse.

Great room for the price, especially with a view of Story Bridge which looks awesome when lit up at night. Room had all amenities, cooktop, microwave, all that. Only thing that wasn't explained in the booking was there is a valet service to park your car. And with no close option to park anywhere, you're kind of locked into paying the extra 25 dollars. Other than that, staff extremely helpful and easy to deal with.

Was skeptical about this place after reading some reviews but honestly we had a great experience. We stayed in a 1 bedroom Riverview apartment. View was awesome. Aircon was nice and cold. Bed was comfy, apartment was spacious. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and bars in the valley or eagle street pier. Staff were friendly. Didn’t use the valet parking though. Parked overnight at queen street garage. Would definitely come here again

Great clean room with balcony overlooking the water. Quick easy walk to food. Plenty of amenities provided. Nice air conditioning. Overall great experience.
