Hodges Caulfield

Story

The suburb of Caulfield, with a population of around 6,000 residents, is a bustling metropolis with a great mix of housing styles, European cultures and excellent schools and community facilities.

Located within 10 kilometres of the City the suburb’s most recognised landmark is the Caulfield Race Track, with horse racing first held at the site in 1859. The suburb also features Caulfield Park, a large Victorian garden ideal for picnics and activities for the whole family; the Caulfield Recreation Centre; and an impressive list of both private and public schools as well Monash University’s major campuses.

Caulfield embraces a strong sense of community. The district is home to a large number of Jewish families as well as other European and Asian groups. Aged care services and youth programmes are also a part of the overall community services provided.
