A enormous thank you to Karen, who had us feel welcome and built an authentic and genuine rapport with us both. Her experience shone through and our experience was seamless, she provided us with underpinning information in allowing us to make informed choices. It was far from the usual sales techniques we have experienced in previous visits. It was Karen’s manner of communication and her personality that had us understand we were in the right hands. We purchased a BBQ which has been a great addition to our lifestyle and outdoor lounge setting.nnOur thanks also goes out to Sandra small appliances and another fabulous experience, her genuine approach and interaction with us was great! Again, her underpinning knowledge provided us with making informed choices. We will certainly be looking out for her with our future small appliance purchases.
A big shout out for Harvey Norman at Everton Park. I bought a recliner and sofa from them. Their advice and attention was excellent. There was a minor issue with the sofa after delivery, and they totally swung into getting it sorted for me. Their customer care was amazing and very much appreciated. Thank you to Mark and his team.
Great range of white goods, household furniture, kitchen and electrical items with all of your computer and peripheral needs covered under one roof.Knowledgeable helpful staff to asist and answer all your questions. They will work you a pretty competitive deal. Home delivery available for bigger appliances. The computer store features a computer service department that can assist with any hardware and or software issues. I have brought many electronic devices from this store and always found them very helpful and price friendly. They will try to match or better the competition on products they stock. After sales service is very good. With any faulty items that are still under warranty. If they can't repair it, they will replace it, and or upgrade it for you. Update: The whole complex received a renovation to the car park area and new a new access road recently. So its much easier now to access this Harvey Norman as well as other stores in this shopping precinct. Nothing has significantly changed here since I made this original post. No major changes as of August 2024 Apart from modifications to car park and new second entry resulting from the newly built access road.
Bought the Ravona 7 piece outdoor living lounge setting for around $3500. Terrible quality as the 2 seater broke in 3 different places after 2 years. Contacted Harvey Norman at Everton Park numerous times and included photos as proof of the terrible workmanship. We were offered to pay for a new 2 seater! There was no offer to send someone to fix it or replace it. After declining to pay for a new 2 seater, we were ignored. All our emails and photos to both the store manager and the after sales manager were ignored. Do not buy from Harvey Norman if you are looking for quality or after sales service. Cant believe we paid $3500 for a terrible setting when we were expecting quality and service. Will just stick to cheap stuff we can easily replace in the future.
I visited Everton Park Harvey Norman before Christmas with the intention of purchasing a new monitor. Despite knowing the specific monitor I wanted and confirming its availability over the phone, the buying process turned out to be frustratingly time-consuming.nnAfter entering the store, I noticed several floor staff members, but none seemed willing to engage with customers or were busy with other customers. At the sales counter, the initial salesperson informed me they couldn't process the sale. Only after they consulted with another salesperson did the transaction proceed, introducing an unnecessary delay.nnI declined the extended warranty, but I was compelled to endure a lengthy speech about it. It wasn't until a different salesperson took over that the sale progressed, well over an hour into the process. Managing this while trying to entertain my young son only added to the inconvenience.nnThe antiquated sales process was surprising, and the lack of empowerment among the staff to handle transactions independently was a major drawback. While I understand that the holiday season can be busy, proper staffing and management should address such issues.nnTo be fair, the salesperson who eventually assisted me was friendly and helpful. However, the overall rating is marked down primarily due to the unnecessarily prolonged and cumbersome sales process that should have been a straightforward transaction.
