Sunday 23rd February behind the laybuy /customer service desk was an extremely rude and aggressive female staff member. Did a click and collect, we made a mistake and thought it was a 1 - 2 hour time frame. It actually states on website if ordered before 11am it would be ready by 4pm. She argued with me it's up to 24 hours and to come back next day. I went to show her on my phone what the website states and she lost it and called management. The manager was very lovely and calm and sorted it out for me. He was kind enough to go grab the item so I didn't have to come back later that day. I have heard this woman treat other customers appallingly in the past and while I never had an issue previously when I've dealt with her, this time she showed her vicious side towards me Come on lady, do better. Your attitude from the moment I walked up to the counter was obnoxious, rude and screams that you want out of your job. Maybe it's time to retire, but whatever is making you cranky know that you're not the only one going through a tough time in life. Please don't take it out on customers. Thanks to the manager for restoring my faith in humanity.
I had an exceptional experience shopping at Brookside Big W, and it was all thanks to an amazing worker named Joe. His friendly demeanor and outstanding customer service stood out from the moment I entered the store. Joe’s astute knowledge of the store layout and product details was truly impressive.nnI was looking for a few specific items and struggling to find them, but Joe guided me with ease. Not only did he know exactly where everything was, but he also provided helpful suggestions that made my shopping experience so much smoother. It's clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about the customers.nnJoe is a credit to the Brookside Big W team, and I’ll definitely be returning thanks to the stellar service. If you ever need help in-store, he's the go-to person!
Thank you to Donna who helped us today with ordering and organising balloons for an upcoming event. Donna took the stress out of our day with her helpful attitude, great recommendations and her evident knowledge and skill in her department. Donna is an asset to Big W and is the reason why Big W Mitchelton is always our go to store for party decorations.
BIG W Brookside is one of the best facilitated major shopping outlets located at Brookside Shopping Centre at Mitchelton.nnTarget was originally located where BIG W is now.nnTarget is now located where Myre was before they closed some years ago.nnThis Big W Brookside is one of the best outlets in this part of northern areas of Brisbane.nnBIG W staff are more than helpful to assist with anything to help locate what you need to find & purchase.nnAll ranges of clothing for men,women, & children are in plentiful supply.nnIt is fantastic to be able to shop at Big W knowing that everything is under the one roof nnThey is a great range of electronic devices, some ranges of furniture, toys, mobile phones & other types of products available at Big W Brookside.nnWheelchair access to Big W is user-friendly, including people who use mobility scooters.nnThis store outlet is on one level & you can either use the self-serving checkout or line up when purchasing your products.nnWhen shopping at Big W Brookside, the Western area directly underneath this store is the best area for parking.nnYou can use the internal stairs to gain access up to the store location, or use the lift access which is in the Western area of parking, or use the Travelator which is a short walk from near the food outlets at Brookside Shopping Centre.nnAll in all, it's a fantastic place to shop, so why not pay a visit to BIG W Brookside next time you are shopping at Brookside Shopping Centre
STAFF WHO WORK AT THIS STORE ARE VERY RUDE, ABUSIVE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO CUSTOMERS AND I WOULDN'T SHOP THERE UNLESS NECESSARY. THE STAFF BEHAVIOUR IS PATHETIC? THEY NEED TO GROW UP AND GET A LIFE. KEEP YOUR OWN PROBLEMS AT HOME AND DISRESPECTING THE CUSTOMERS IN YOUR STORE AS THEY MAKE CUSTOMERS FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND AROUND THEM. MY EXPERIENCES FROM THESE STAFF A GOING TO A CURRENT AFFAIR. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.nBIG W MIGHT HAVE PRODUCTS THAT YOU NEED, BUT BIG W BROOKSIDE HAS THE WRONG STAFF WORKING FOR THEM. THEY GET THEIR RUDE MANNERS FROM HOME OR WITH THE PEOPLE THAT THEY MIX WITH.
