Really gorgeous! Though probably not the best place to take a curious toddler as its a cactus and succulents garden, and my little one couldnt keep her hands off the spikes!

Great spiral installation with a pond at the top. Anyone expecting a resemblance to a real volcano, however, will be disappointed. Provides a good vantage point to the gardens and towards the city.

Pretty installation with a nice view. Helps to filter the water for the botanical gardens.

A midsummer eruption of efflorescence.

Make sure young children know this is not a real volcano ... but then make sure they know that you mustn't touch cactuses! I would happily take youngsters here to show them that parks are amazingly interesting.
