We had a wonderful long stay here at the Grosvenor for about 6 weeks! The staff were very helpful and great, the manager Ben and the cleaners were fantastic especially Donna! We loved the relaxing pool area, the location was super close to lots of yummy food and the rooms had everything we needed for our extended stay. We got fresh towels everyday and the rooms were nice and clean. The other people staying at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. Look forward to coming again, thank you Ben and staff! Food & drinks: Sooo close to so many great food options!!!
I just wonder how come on earth this kind of damp, unhygienic accomodation still exist in city like Cairns!!! There were tiny bugs all over the one bedroom suit that we booked, on couch, on bed and kitchen. We have got bitten constaintly. So paintful and unhappy to stay there. Unfortunately I didn't check the reviews before booking
If I could choose 0 stars, I would! Rooms were not cleaned for all 6 nights we stayed. "Cleaner" only picked up rubbish from rubbish bins. Towels were changed only after I spoke to cleaner and ask her "to be kind and change our towels". Tiny swimming pool. I was lucky to meet a receptionist on duty, who mentioned to me : " Oh, you have to wait for at least 2 hours before going into the water because pool guy just thrown chemicals into water!!! it was ! pm. hot day!! There was not any sign of warning about it!!! I can't imagine if some guests will go for a swim?? Actually i was reading near the pool and 2 lasdies came for a swim... I warned them about chemicals- they look clearly terrified. Please, do yourself a favour - do not stay in those apartments
The room was not cleaned well. Has cockroaches, and an interconnecting room with a party till late and then a baby crying throughout the night.Rooms: 1/5
The Manager at Grosvenor in Cairns has a very bad customer service when being approach at the reception and asking him about unauthorised transaction being made from the motel , all he could say was I don't need to show you anything . We told him Bank informed us money was taken by Grosvenor in Cairns . All he said the bank is lying and couldn't explain about the unauthorised transaction. All he did was call the cops and lied to them he was being threatened by us. Obviously you stole out of the account . We will be seeking legal advice. Noteworthy details: Nothing to say
The room was not clean. IE, other guests rubbish under the couch. The half flush on the toilets didn't work 3 toilets. And the toilet in my room didn't fill. With 2 people sharing, this was very unhygenic. When we complained, nothing was done. A few days later, the toaster blew the power. Toaster was replaced. Next day he asked how the toaster was, I replied great, but the toilet isn't working properly. HE LAUGHED, I SAID IT'S NOT FUNNY. HE SLAMMED HIS DOOR ON US NEVER AGAIN WILL WE STAY AGAIN. NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND STAYING THERE WITH SUCH A RUDE MANAGER.
Do not stay here they lie cheat and scam. Over booking and moving you next door to d grade accommodation and pocketing the difference. Perfect way to ruin your holidays is to stay at the Grosvenor Cairns Stay away people.Rooms: 1/5
We viewed one of the units for sale at Grosvenor on Thursday 22/07/21 to purchase, however we just didn't feel we could tolerate the traffic noise. The exterior and grounds seemed like it needed updating & cleaned. Stairwell up to three levels certainly needed a coat of paint. Expensive Body Corporate Fees & no balcony + no window in the one bathroom.
Neat little motel with clean rooms and facilities. Rooms are fairly spacious, too. Good value for money accommodation option. Some guests are a noisy bunch, and the noise from the stairwell leaks into your rooms, particularly when it's 5am and they thunder off to their days activity.
Thumps down For Grosvenor motel in cairns, the manager owner are a very bad I meant very bad customer service, really bad on the phone as well can’t speak polite & kind very bad can’t even wait till you explain your point, he just hang up & I made a booking there the very next day I received an email saying your payment was not made when I have a Proof of my transaction, when my family member went over to the motel that manger can’t even speak nicely to them all he did was raising his voice & telling them to live the motel what a bloke I tell you mobs don’t stay there his a big “SCAMMER “ stole my money, can’t even show my family member the transaction he made when they tried to show him that the transaction was made her didn’t want to see because he know he stole my money biggest SCAMMER
