I stayed there 2 nights only but it was the worst experience ever. Mouldy bathrooms, rust everywhere, the bathrooms and showers weren't private and we're disgusting. The beds were uncomfortable and there was never any parking spots. The pool was disgusting and dirty and the hot tub was full of algae and mould. There was noisy kids running around and screaming with no parents telling them off. The free wifi didn't work and the towels they provided were dirty and disgusting.
My daughter and I stayed there for two nights last week. Everything is old and run down, mouldy bathrooms, the bathroom we used had no hooks to hang our towels or clothes on and some of the tiles we broken and raised which potentially could cause someone to cut their feet. The grounds and gardens are over grown, very dirty and untidy. The pool area looked amazing and the pool was clean but we didn't use that area so can't comment on the cleanliness of it. The rooms are a good size and linen was clean. The fridge had no shelves in it. I felt uneasy in the room at night because there was only the push lock on the door handle so better security would be worth looking into. I guess it comes down to you get what you pay for but I doubt I'd ever stay there again.
We only needed a cheap place for one night and Bohemia Resort Cairns did the job. The location was convenient-close to the airport, which suited us perfectly for a late arrival.nnHowever, we weren't fans of the shared toilet and shower setup. The room itself felt quite old and wasn't very clean. Unfortunately, we also saw a few cockroaches, which wasn't a great experience.nnIt's okay if you're just after a budget stay for a quick stopover, but don't expect much comfort
Hard to complain about this place in fairness. Has everything you need and is comfortable. It’s dated but clean and it works. Friendly staff and easy check in. Very affordable if found online through various booking sites. Comfy beds. Good kitchen. pool and spa. it’s got my tick. Will be back. Really Close to town
Had a small cockroach crawl over me as I was in bed. I woke up to it. The bed are very old and extremely uncomfortable. Very hard to open up the sliding door. Sharing a bathroom in the public hallway not safe for children to use on their own. One of the worst places I have stayed in. Won't be back.
