gets the job done, but in really uncountable conditions. the bed moves when you go to lay on them, my brother fell out of one because he got on it and it moved it was funny but bad.. the bathrooms… oh god. they are so strange and dirty. in my room, they don’t actually have a shower room in the bathroom just a shower head and toilet and sink. it makes a very loud noise when you turn it on. didn’t come into contact with any staff as we arrived quite late, but overall the place gets the job done but is very awkward and wouldn’t recommend.
I stayed there 2 nights only but it was the worst experience ever. Mouldy bathrooms, rust everywhere, the bathrooms and showers weren't private and we're disgusting. The beds were uncomfortable and there was never any parking spots. The pool was disgusting and dirty and the hot tub was full of algae and mould. There was noisy kids running around and screaming with no parents telling them off. The free wifi didn't work and the towels they provided were dirty and disgusting.
There are shared showers and toilets, the wifi sometimes works sometimes not, if you want housekeeping you need to ask for it and service is slow and bad. But it does the work to survive as a budget option with good location.
Had a small cockroach crawl over me as I was in bed. I woke up to it. The bed are very old and extremely uncomfortable. Very hard to open up the sliding door. Sharing a bathroom in the public hallway not safe for children to use on their own. One of the worst places I have stayed in. Won't be back.
We only needed a cheap place for one night and Bohemia Resort Cairns did the job. The location was convenient-close to the airport, which suited us perfectly for a late arrival.nnHowever, we weren't fans of the shared toilet and shower setup. The room itself felt quite old and wasn't very clean. Unfortunately, we also saw a few cockroaches, which wasn't a great experience.nnIt's okay if you're just after a budget stay for a quick stopover, but don't expect much comfort
