If you’re wanting 4-5 star accomodation, this place is not for you.nRooms are not serviced daily and you need to ask every couple of days for fresh bath towels.nBUT if your travelling on a budget, a totally acceptable resort/hostelnThey have a lovely pool area but no bars or entertainment, there are many places to eat a short walk away, or the bus system in Cairns is only around the corner and is a very cheap way to get around with all fares just 0.50 cents to get into town.nSo if you’re happy to make your own bed and ask for fresh towels then it’s perfect and the cheapest place in Cairns.nIf your fit enough just a 25 minute walk to town.
We have really enjoyed our stay here. The beds are super comfy and the staff are so nice to chat to and very helpful! The pool and jacuzzi were especially nice. Good location too, you can walk into the city or take a very short drive. Definitely recommend.

This place is a NIGHTMARE!!! Misleading pics which were most likely taken 30 years ago!nThey put me in a bottom floor room in the 1st building. And it looked like a ferril share house for the homeless. With shared toilets & showers! I asked for an upgrade. So they gave me a room on the ground floor building behind. At least I had my own toilet & shower. Everything was very old & shabby with mold on the ceiling near fan & air con. The locks on doors were the round with click in locks on door handles. This place did not feel safe in any way! Lucky I had just booked for only a couple nights!nOnly stay here if your on a desperate budget!
No wi-fi, tv was pixelated, basic room, shower flooded, hot water was hit & miss , but reception staff were very helpful, good pool area, location was fine , short bus ride to town centre , ideal so long as you don't spend too much time there, could be a great place to stay if it was upgraded
