Can 100% recommend this as a great place to stay in Cairns. We have used it regularly when travelling as it is close to the airport and has big, clean, modern rooms with balconies. The showers have a good water pressure and the beds are comfy. What more could you want? The staff here are always super-helpful, friendly and inviting. We feel safe here, the price is always reasonable and it’s easy to get a cab in to town for meals and shopping. Thank you to all of the staff here and keep up the good work
Good place to stay in Cairns. Good size clean rooms with balcony. Wi-Fi is not great though. Location is in a quiet area, away from all happening area of the city which is 10-12 minutes taxi ride. Not a big deal. Rates are quite reasonable. Breakfast is included but same food everyday, no change. There is a nice spacious outdoor sitting area with canopy, for breakfast.
We stayed here for 3 nights. The reason for my rather low rating is the cleanliness of the hotel. The bedsheets had stains and there were hair on the hairdryer, but I guess the hotel was okay for the price.nIt is very close to the airport but a bit of a walk into the CBD. The staff was very friendly.
We stayed 5 nights and could not have been happier. Spacious room, very comfortable bed, all amenities. But what made our stay so special was the excellent service from all staff but especially Manu on reception.
I booked this hotel for my final night in Cairns after a multi day diving trip and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.nnCheck in itself was smooth, but the room I was given at nearly $200 for the night had a connecting door to the adjacent room, and I could clearly hear every conversation through it. Even more concerning, the door could actually be opened from my side, which felt like a genuine security issue.nnI raised this with reception, and was asked to inspect another room. Unfortunately, this second room had a loud mechanical/electrical noise coming from the room next to it, making it just as unsuitable.nnWhile returning to reception, I overheard the staff member say to another employee:n“He’s definitely angling for an upgrade.”nWhen I then asked to cancel instead, she agreed, and as I was leaving, I heard another comment along the lines of “Watch him book some other hotel.”nnThis was unnecessary and unprofessional, especially when I was simply trying to find a room that was quiet and secure.nnI ended up needing to book alternative accommodation last minute, at additional cost, which was frustrating especially after a long trip.nnOverall, I can’t recommend this hotel based on room quality and staff attitude. The experience was disappointing, and I would suggest checking other accommodation options in the area.
