We stayed 5 nights and could not have been happier. Spacious room, very comfortable bed, all amenities. But what made our stay so special was the excellent service from all staff but especially Manu on reception.

Spent 2 nights and it was great. Rooms lovely and clean. Service was wonderful, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was yummy, I loved the muffins. We will definitely be back.

I stayed here for three nights. While the rooms were reasonably clean, the shower definitely needed an upgrade — the shower head didn’t work properly and teh whole place felt outdated. Breakfast was a crime against bacon — overcooked to the point of resembling leather. Think also canned apricots and baked beans. I paid for three days of breakfast but didn’t return after day two. The coffee was awful.nnThe pool was more ornamental than functional, and the stairway leading to it reminded me of the grimy stairwells in Wilson’s parking lots in inner Sydney. The hotel itself is also quite a hike from the town centre.nnWouldn’t recommend this place.

Place is filthy and needs a big clean. Room had live cockroaches in room, dust everywhere, bed sheets were dirty, very very noisy, bed very very uncomfortable but the kicker was the 3 snot balls on the walls left by previous guests. 2 on the wall near the bed and one in the bathroom near the toilet. Place stinks, could smell cigarette smoke while in my room with it all locked up. Someone was smoking in their room. They accommodate for early check in which was most appreciated. Lady at reception very helpful, polite and well groomed and dressed very nicely. I couldn't wait to get home to have a shower and burn my clothes that I was wearing while there as I felt so dirty. Roof of room looked like a 3 year old painted it.

What a beautiful friendly place to stay. Thank you to the wonderful Judy and Staff here at this lovely Hotel. You made our stay here in awesome Cairns that extra special.
