I stayed at the NRMA Cairns Holiday Park for 4 nights.nAnd I have to say it was really very quiet. The holiday park can't be blamed for the heatwave, because it was already a bit warm in the tent :-nOtherwise there is a pool. Unfortunately there aren't enough loungers. It's first come, first served.nThere is a laundry where you can wash your things. A cooking area with lots of fridges is right next to the campsite.nAnd what's really good is that the internet is stable and fast everywhere on the campsite.nA small lounge with a TV right next to the laundry was a great place to cool off during the heatwave.
Super friendly personnel, nice and big kitchen, unfortunately male amenities smell like one big piss since over a week!, shower semi working, half broken and quite dirty in general. You should work on the cleanliness of your facilities. Another plus for the good location and easy connection to the rest of the town.
Great affordable place to stay in Cairns! Located a few miles from downtown, and close to the airport.nnThere’s buses that run a few blocks away from the park and one can also use Uber to/from the airport.nnThey have a little convenience store and coffee shop, and campground facilities for campers and RV’s too.
Lovely rooms, well kept and cleaned. Good amenities. Outdoor bbqs were spotless. But far from town but can easily get a bus or uber
I had a great stay at NRMA Cairns Holiday Park. The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was excellent. The only downside was the limited facilities for kids. Overall, a pleasant experience and would recommend for families looking for a quiet, relaxing stay.
