In 2015 I purchased a used Holden Cruze from Nathan at Gerald Slaven. The whole experience was pleasant and made so simple by all of the wonderful staff. They suggested a vehicle that met my needs exactly and guided me through the entire purchase process with ease and professionalism. The after purchase servicing has also been convenient and accessible, with the staff explaining any issues to me clearly. Both the staff and service at Gerald Slaven are above par and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a pleasant and efficient experience when purchasing a vehicle.

Manager Duane & salesman Billy were honest & professional & easy to deal with as was Naveen in finance...as an interstate buyer you need to trust the dealership. Over the phone with a few pics we negotiated a fair price on my much loved HSV R8 & on delivery the used car i bought was in excellent condition, just as they said it would be...Duane even factored in free interstate transport with my drive away price...overall it was a smooth stress free & positive experience. Cheers boys

The electronic handbrake stopped working on my Captiva back in December, so I took it to Gerald Slaven Holden Belconnen to get it looked at for a quote. I was charged $137 for the privilege of letting them look at it, and was then told I needed a new handbrake module and cable, which would cost over $1400. Thinking that this was a rather excessive amount, I looked around for a better price. Found a place not far away, who reliably informed me that I only needed a cable and that the module was fine and didn't need to be replaced. The car was fixed quickly and the handbrake is working perfectly again. Total cost for repairs were $441 (I have the receipt to prove it), saving me roughly $1000! I can only assume that Gerald Slaven Holden were trying to pull a fast one and resell my module onto somebody else or someone wanted it for themselves. More likely, is that they'd just leave it on there and charge me for a new one. Oldest trick in the book and I'd be none the wiser. Why else quote to replace a part that's in good working order?? Whichever way, they've been dishonest. I bought this car brand new from this dealership too. Never again!!! And to anyone reading this and considering using this place, you have been warned... In response to the feedback from the owner : Firstly, what difference does it make that it was my first visit in six years? Actually, it was my second visit, and you were asked to look at a specific fault / issue, as explained when it was booked in, so any prior knowledge is not relevant. I had no prior knowledge of the handbrake not working either until it stopped working on the day I called you. Secondly, if your diagnostic procedure is pointing to a fault with a part that is not faulty, then isn't your diagnostic procedure at fault? And why is someone else's diagnostic procedure (who is not even a Holden dealer) working better than yours, in that case? Saving me $1000 in the process. Is that really what Holden's standards are up to? Well, if you're happy that you've lived up to these standards and that I could have paid more money for no reason at all because your system is at fault, then that's good to hear. How many other people have paid needless amounts of money when they didn't have to? Lastly, I've no real wish to speak to the dealer principal, as I'd only just be fobbed off with the same story and it'd be brushed under the carpet. Let's face it, it's not as if he/she will actually take this on board and find out why this happened. If you're interested in improving your service, as you say, here's your chance. I won't hold my breath on that one. Update : The Dealer Principal never did action it on his return after the 29th. No surprise there!

Been to this dealership a couple of times now and I have never experienced such a wonderful service in my life before. I would like to mention Mr. Naveen Gupta ( Guppy ) who is unbelievable at customer service. He is certainly an asset to this company. Well done Guppy

Me and my wife have recently purchased a new Holden colarado from Gerald slaven in belconnen. The service that was received by not only the amazing salesman Daniel but also their finance manager Vlatko was outstanding, we can’t thank them enough. We had looked at many different cars and at few dealerships and left feeling pressured into buying or disappointed in not being able to test drive. From the moment we walked into Gerald Slaven Holden we were amazed at the professionalism and friendly atmosphere of this dealership. Daniel was very informative about the vehicles we were looking at and had a great amount of knowledge about these. We didn’t feel pressured at all Into buying and they were more than accommodating when we requested a test drive. We highly recommend Vlatko to anyone looking to finance a new vehicle. Vlatko made the entire process easy and stress free. When it came time pick up our new Ute, Daniel went through everything about the car with us and gave a detailed demonstration on how everything works and connects. So if your looking to purchase a new vehicle, you won’t be disappointed at Gerald Slaven Holden and their amazing team.
