First time visiting in 20yrs. Looks great for a smaller cinema, clean amenities, sound and picture clear. Not entirely sound proof as can still hear bass in neighbouring theatre but not enough to spoil sound in one you're in. Time prices a tiny bit more expensive but it's ok because it's generally quieter and less people.
Lovely staff, lovely theatre. We were the only two in the theatre but is was just before Christmas. So we had a private screening. thankyou to everyone at the cinema. You will be sadly missed.
Attended a Silver Screening and thoroughly enjoyed the morning tea and light lunch. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable seats and was able to park right outside the door.

It was the first time I have been to Gawler Cinema since the previous owners sold it. Wallis Cinemas now run it. It is very clean and presentable, the staff friendly and helpful, however, it has lost its charm You knew the cinema for the previous owners was their passion and joy and that poured heart and soul into that place. It was like visiting friends for a movie night than a cinema outing. It has lost that sense of charm and character since the sale. Still a nice place to go for a movie.
Lovely experience going to this cinema. Charming atmosphere, comfy seating, staff friendly and welcoming. So easy to find parking. Loved it.
Small and cosy. Nice service. Most other cinemas have recliner seats now, that it's not as enjoyable watching the big screen without one
Saw a preview of the Gawler episode of Off the Couch with Ethan. The temperature within the cinema was just right and the seats comfortable. Booster cushions are available for the younger members of the family. Snack bar staff were friendly and weren't pushy trying to upsell purchases. Toilets are clean. Great that there are chairs to sit on while waiting for the cinema to open. Speaker system inside the cinema isn't too loud. This cinema is a hidden gem.
Told to put mask on yet only a few steps to be seated. Not asked if I am not wearing it for any particular reason. Just told it is mandatory and must put on twice. SA Health website states "Please be respectful to others as reasons for not wearing a mask are not always obvious" I left and as they have few attendees these days, could they really afford to lose a regular customer? Advised I would post a negative review to let others know. Response was to tell me this is illegal but I am confident I am not doing anything illegal only telling it as it is.
