Guys be careful with Furniture galore service and product. I’m having worst experience still not resolved below is the story. Purchased in May. Received loungeottoman with defect tried to inform store over the phone whenever called them they take the message and said we are busy now call you back soon which they never. Emailed them no response. Called store again finally they said email to head office done waited 1 week no response from head office. Went in store to find out what’s happening. Staff member called head office and find out can replace end of July. Here I’m at end of August still not replaced. This is it Furniture galore never will step back in your store agin.
Friendly staff, very helpful. Good selection of furniture, neat layout so easy to find what I was looking for. Love our new sofa, so comfy and looks fantastic and the price was half what other stores were asking for a similar sofa. Bit of a delay in receiving it but it was ordered at the very start of Covid lockdowns so not blaming the store. Some items they have in stock so no wait on having items delivered. Highly recommend.
Went 2 times there. The sales guys male person is very rude. First time when we went there the guys behave very bad way to my 2.5 year kid. And also hr talked very very rudly with me. But we ignore him cause we think he is metali sick guy. But second time today we went there to order sofa and we asked for best price to sales girl. The girl asked that sick guys and he refuse that very badly. The owner has to think about this cause I saw many bad reviews this guys behaviour and m pretty sure the owner has to close the store cause of him. Now m going to sunshine furniture galore to order this sofa cause we like that one.
Good selection of furniture and we were able to purchase all items in stock for a rapid delivery. We were able to furnish our new house immediately. We purchased sofa, coffee table, lamp table, entertainment unit, 4 pce bedroom suite and 9 piece dining suite. The sales staff were extremely helpful, even tracking down our preferred bedroom suite which appeared to be out of stock. The furniture needs to be assembled but is very good quality. Delivery was prompt and as scheduled and we had been advised that the couriers would deliver to the ground floor but charge cash to carry anything upstairs. Unfortunately the delivery guys charged us $120 to carry 4 items upstairs cash in hand. This was the only negative but they are not employees of the company.
Ali S was absolutely amazing! Approached us straight away and asked what we were after, had a great sense of humour and found the perfect couch for us - the only sales rep that took us seriously in any furniture store - we appreciate it Ali and can't wait for our new couch! :
Rang up just now about a mattress. I understand we are in stage 4 restrictions. I just wanted to know if a mattress could be shipped to the Hoppers Crossing store as Epping is outside our 5km radius and if i got it shipped from Epping its nearly another $90 for delivery. The guy who answered the phone who didnt identify himself, was rude and very aburpt. Wouldn't even let me ask my question and just said ring Epping. I know we can't enter the store but i thought maybe click and collect like the Epping store is doing. Didnt find out though as he wasn't helpful. I have spent $1000's of dollars over the years at Furniture galore but this person has put me off. *edit* Was contacted today by Melissa from the Epping store regarding my review. I explained to her what happened and she was extremely apologetic for the lack of customer service i was shown. She offered to deliver the mattress i wanted the next day free of charge. Totally different experience the next day compared to the day before. Quite happy to change my review and star rating.
Got a beautiful quality 3 seater sofa with large cushions included. Very well priced and looks great. Great customer service and efficient delivery. Would highly recommend
I bought a couch recliner 3+1+1 with $999. It got scratches and marks. They told they will replace, sent a replacement very late after so many followup callsthey will never update you status over mail or phone, very bad customer service and rude. After long wait just to sea a used couch with more scratches as replacement. I never ever buy from this store again and don’t suggest Furniture Galore to anyone. Don’t buy from here. I could have given 0 stars if there is option.
We purchased majority of our furniture for our new house from this store and I would not recommend. The service we have received has been horrible and the staff are unable to provide straight answers. The first time we went to the store we spoke with a woman who said she was a manager and was wearing a manager badge but apparently wasn't the manager. She lied about several things to us including the colour of the furniture and that Furniture Galore would hold our furniture until our house was built no questions asked. Whilst we were in the store both this employee and a male employee who still works there made racist remarks I had sent an email to head office stating this and it was never acknowledged. After speaking with several people from the company there is inconsistent information of if she even was the manager and if she still works for the company. Every month we would receive calls from them asking when the house would be ready and we would say we werent sure and the person on the phone would give us an attitude. When we booked in our delievery the new manager said that our furniture had been disconntinued and that it had put the warehouse out by having to hold onto old furniture, however it is still listed on their website and able to be bought which I have confirmed with other staff at the store. Even though the new manager said all of our furniture would be delievered we found out the afternoon beforehand that not all of it was there. I spoke with Ali who was incredibly rude and condesending and I said that we wanted some form of compensation due to our experience, he said he would follow up with head office and get back to me within a week. Due to the holiday period I gave him close to 10 business days before I followed up with him and he said he hadn't intended on calling me back as he had passed my info onto head office and that his job was to sell the furniture not deal with customers afterwards. He said he didn't have time to talk to me because he needed to try and sell some furniture and told me to email head office even though I already had and it hadn't be acknowledged. Ali had called my husband previously and had left notes on our account saying that he advised him to make additional payments reguarly which he never did, when I asked Ali about this he said he never said that and asked where I got that from and when I said it was on the notes on the invoice and he said well I did it was my reason for calling. Eventually head office replied to me and the woman said that Furniture Galore had attempted to contact us multiple times and we never replied we called back everytime we missed a call from them and that we had changed our order which resulted in delays we never changed the order, when the order was put through the wrong couch had been listed on there but it had been fixed immediately. I ended up canceling the remaining portion of the order with Furniture Galore and highly recomend everyone stays away from them as they do not care about customer service once they have made the sale.
We have purchased many items of furniture from here in the past and have been very happy with the service from the two men, However that all changed when Emma started work there, we went in and purchased a bed, as it was our daughters wedding coming up we asked if the bed would be delivered in time, we were assured by Emma that it would be, 2 days before the wedding we called and we were told that headoffice had decided not to make a delivery on the day and the bed would be coming the following week, I asked if anything could be done and Emma said on the phone if you dont like it you can get a refund, I asked if there was anyway for us to pick it up to which she replied nope, I asked if I could call headoffice to try to organise something she said no no number for you to call. I asked to speak to the manager she told me he was busy, and repeated if you dont like it get a refund. The worst customer service from Emma she is rude. I buy alot of my furniture from here but honestly and very unhappy as the wedding has come and gone and I did not have a bed for the guests.
