Spent over $4k on a couch set, one side completely buckled - leg had come loose and metal screw inside was bent. Reached out to support and was told “discontinued” and cause is “wear and tear”, and that I’d need to pay for new legs. They made no effort to look into it even though I found other legs are coming loose and will not tighten. Will let my family and friends know so they hopefully don’t have the same experience, and sharing here for anyone else’s information. After sales care is unsatisfactory. Will never shop here again.
They don't take any responsibility. AVOID! Their Terms and Conditions will work against you. There is no returns or exchanges and you HAVE to open delivered items within 24h! otherwise they won't accept faulty items! We have purchesed some chairs from Oz Design and wanted to get table in matching wood color. Staff member recommended type of Chestnut wood. She showed us different tyle of table made in same wood which we like hence went ahead with purchase. We were shocked when out table has been delivered full of nail like holes. We soon find out that this is the typical characteristics for this wood. We feel misinformed because we feel staff should worn us of such a unusual wood feature. The table sample they had on the floor did not have these holes prominent enough to see it. The wood sample had one hole but we didn't assume this is actual wood feature bur rather fault in the sample. We spoke to the staff member Pat who served us that day and we found her quite arrogant. She was suggesting we should check other items on the floor in the same wood as other one have these holes clearly visible - yet she did not mention this to us on the day and only focused on one table. Claim with Customer Service has been created but OzDesign was only trying to blame table manufacturer in regards to the unexpected table 'features'. Obviously manufacturer did not accept out claim since these holes are comkon for this type of wood. OzDesign does not feel guilty at all and there was not even 'sorry' said.
While the floor staffs were helpful, the good things end there after they got your money!!!! I ordered the Stuart buffet and the item delivered was poorly made, not as presented in the show room. A replacement was offered in November 2021. As I'm writing this review on 26th of May 2022. There hasn't been an appointed delivery date for the replacement. But worst of all, despite multiple delays, the refund request has been denied "as Oz Design Furniture has elected to have this item replaced in a TIMELY manner" quoted from their corresponding email What a joke!!! This company isn't far off a scammer! BEWARE WHEN YOU SHOP AT OZ DESIGN FURNITURE IN GENERAL!!!
Terrible customer service - they don’t meet their contractual obligations and when things go wrong they will do everything they can to avoid giving you a refund. Don’t trust their lead times and make sure you read the fine print of their contracts before you hand over your hard earned money. Will never shop here again.

I wish google has no star as they don’t deserve star at all. I went to the shop in essendon on 27/12/2021 and bought dining table accepted to be delivery end of Jan and chairs chairs accepted to be delivery early March Now the beginning of March 2022 I haven’t received my dining table yet nor chairs. Called them once a week to follow up since the end of Jan, they gave me the same story that will leave Sydney warehouse this Thursday, called again got told the same story. I am so freaking angry about this!!! BS with Covid!!! I understand with Covid but dont give me the same story that my order will leave depot when it is somewhere in China!!! Is this a spam company????? Please contact me and explain this ASAP otherwise I will co tact consumer affairs Victoria!!!! NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN !!!!!
Ozdesign offers a good range of different styles to suit most homes and in general their products have decent quality. However nothing is easy with Ozdesign. Please be especially careful when ordering online from them as they just don't return items bought online even if a product looks cheap and colourless in reality. I made a mistake ordering a number of pictures and most of them were fine, but there was one that simply did not look as bright and colourful as on the website and they refused to exchange or refund it. If only I knew they would never refund/exchange! Highly recommend to stay away from their online shop. This is very concerning attitude to online shoppers given COVID lockdowns. Unfortunately there is definitely a mess with suppliers which it makes difficult to buy additional items to already purchased ones and maintain certain standard. I guess they keep changing manufacturers and hence this problem arises. A few months ago I bought a few dining chairs and because they did not have enough stock for some of them I had to wait a few weeks. Problem was the chairs that I had brought from a store were of beige colour, but those that were delivered later were grey so in the end I had to got rid of beige coloured ones and replace all of them with grey ones.
Had great service from Angela, who was very attentive to numerous customers during a busy Saturday. Angela was honest with me about delays experienced as a result of covid, and did a good job of setting my expectations. I was lucky enough to avoid any of those delays, and organising delivery with the warehouse team was easy. My sofa was delivered by two friendly team members and after a few weeks, I'm still really happy with the sofa! Thanks Angela and team!
Terrible customer service experience. We ordered a couch mid Nov and told it would be delivered early Dec. Nothing happened early Dec so we had to call you to understand where our couch was, one of your staff let us know that shipping had been delayed and it would actually be mid Jan. No apology, no nothing. Mid Jan rolls past and the same thing, no notice, no email, no call... we call you again only to be told it would be early Feb.. again disappointed, again no apology. Then finally the day rolls around when the couch is meant to arrive, I was given a window of 1:30-3:30.. at 11am I received a call, mid meeting at work, to say the driver is 20min away, please be home for delivery. Absolutely ridiculous. Never shopping here again.
the tribble costumer service I have ever had. I bought 2 items from Essendon branch and I was supposed to receive them in mid March 2021 and your staff promised me to receive it on time and I paid %20 deposit. In Mid march I called you and your staff said there will be a delay of 2 months and then I wanted to cancel them and she said I will loose my 20% deposit so it means if there will be other delays I have to wait or I loose my money. it is unbelievable policy. the only think you are looking for is getting 20% deposit even by giving fake promise to costumers. disappointing service
