Absolutely the wrost customer service l have experienced. Told that they can scan 18 pages on the spot but not 36 pages. Icing on the cake was when he said me he didn't want to do the job and got the manager to come over to show me how to manually scan. Manager talks over you when explaining a mistake had been made previously when scanned the day before at a different store. Pretty much called me a liar as there was no chance it was scanned on the spot. Worth the drive to go to a different store.

My sister and I arrived Sunday at approximately 6.20pm to have a photo printed. We wanted an old photo scanned cropped and background cut out.nnWe weren't aware they don't have cut out app function which is okay as we have an app nnWhat was disappointing is the service. There were 4 or 5 staff members at the printing service desk. We asked for help and the team directed us to self serve area.nnWe were able to scan our photo however didn't get to print because we were ushered out......another team member telling us that it was closing time. We asked 3 different staff members for help. The service was between not great and terrible. One woman was so dismissive. The staff were more worried about getting everyone out to close the doors. I get it....big day before school starts. The team weren't to know we lost our uncle earlier in the day and were trying to print a photo for his frame for the wake. We were exhausted and just needed some help.nnToday.... I was at Westfield Airport West shopping and called Officeworks Airport West to check if they were open so I could try again. I also wanted to explain what I needed help with. The gentleman that answered the call was condescending and annoyed.nnSo okay....this pattern tells me there is a cultural issue. Staff cannot wait to run out of the store, avoid customers and be dismissive and rude. They love to direct you to self serve.nnThe rude call helped me remember Kmart also has a printing service......so I walked there to find Carole. Carole that COULD NOT BE MORE HELPFUL . She's amazing for Kmart. She was the only team member working. She showed us at the kiosk how to print our images. She was friendly patient kind engaging and made us feel seen and heard. Maybe the manager of officworks Airport West can mystery shop Carole at Kmart Airport West to see fantastic service.....and organise paid mystery professional shoppers to compare tp theirs.nnI will never print here or buy here again. Horrible vibe. So unwelcoming. I can buy stationary online and never visit a human. Maybe officeworks can look at their service that in this store isn't working.nnBe kind engaging and helpful to your customers otherwise get out of retail and customer service. If you're in Airport West....check out Kmart for printing solutions. Carole is amazing.nnPs. The no reply to reviews is also a sign of we don't care.
I ordered 2 chairs online for pickup as Christmas gifts. Received an email saying my items were ready to pick up about a week after I placed the order. Went to pick them up only to be told that no, the items aren't there - and no, they won't come until after New Year's. Asked for a refund only to be told they can't refund online orders in store, and to call customer service. I explained that of the 3 pickup orders I've arranged at this specific store, all 3 have had issues. Every single time. So frustrating!
Long post alert. Possibly the worst officeworks staff.nI have been going to OW for many many years and never had any issue but really really annoyed by the behaviour of team members at OW airport west.nI went to buy an Apple watch series 9 which I wanted to price match to Telstra. The guy at the counter I think his name was Matt, not sure though said since it is telstra the device would be locked by their network. I told him that I have already confirmed that the device isn't locked by a network but he wanted to confirm on that himself which I thought is reasonable as he would want to ensure on this. He kept doing something for 40 minutes and then told me he can't find that info but asked if I can prove by showing him the telstra customer service chat that device isn't locked then he will be able to price beat it.nSo, I got this confirmed in writing with telstra customer service and showed it to the same guy. He then said he will ask his manager to do the price match.nMind you, I have spent more than an hour by this point. Now, the store manger comes and straight way says we cant price match it.nI have 2 questions:n1. If you are going to make this process so annoying then why bother advertising falsely that we will price beat, bla bla?n2. And why does 1 team member say we can price match and other say we cant? This is beyond annoying. I for sure am not shopping at OW again, zero regard for customer's time.nJust if anyone is curious, I purchased the watch from telstra right after this episode.
