I recently bought an apartment advertised by MAP. As a first home buyer, Michael had been very patient in answering my questions and in providing me with clear explanation. I was particularly impressed with the explanation and the time he took to go through every single page of the contract of sale and making sure that all my questions were answered. Michael had been very friendly and professional throughout the purchase process. He responded to my inquiries/requests fairly quickly most of the time although there was once it took a few days for Michael to reply to my messages. I also appreciated that Michael sending a follow up message after settlement and offering to provide assistance if there was a problem.

Michael Furlong is an expert in his field and does what it takes to get the job done. He is extremenly hard working and professional and has absolute belief in what he does. Whether it is buying your own home, and investment property, or having your investment property managed, Michael and his team are the people to deal with. I have bought an investment property through Michael and am totally delighted in the way this property has performed over the last four years. Michael and his team also manage two of my properties and once again, cannot recommend him highly enough. Speak with Michael and be convinced he is the person to help you with all things property.

I recently bought a property off the plan using Map Real Estate and I honestly couldn’t recommend Map more highly for the extraordinary help they gave me guiding me through the whole property purchasing process. I had issues with valuations, financing, bank guarantees and settlement, and had I not had Michael at Map to help me out, I would have had to come up with another $40,000 just to settle on the property due to mess up with Westpac and the valuation. There was another issue with the bank guarantee that neither the bank manager, my lawyer or my mortgage broker seemed to know what to do about. Michael it seemed was the only person who knew how to handle the situation and because of his ‘stern’ calls to the bank manager and my mortgage broker, the whole situation was cleared up for me. There are so many possible pitfalls when purchasing a property that I had no idea existed, and it was incredibly reassuring for me to know that I had a property investor of Michael’s experience who was ‘on my side’. He genuinely made all of the problems go away without me having to do hardly anything. I couldn’t imagine getting a better level of service. I am now renting my property through Map and their excellent service has extended into this process as well.

The team from MAP have just sold an apartment for us in St Kilda. We were very impressed with the knowledge of both Michael and James form MAP and the level of detail they went to to maximise our sale price. I am very happy to say that the price achieved far exceeded our expectations and the team handled everything in a professional and timely manner. I recommend MAP to any vendor seeking professionalism, personal service and a great sale price.

As a landlord i was ill and unable to follow up on property management so paid the extra money for MAP. Upon the tenant leaving after 3 years she told me MAP had not done an inspection for 2 years despite me regularly contacting MAP to ensure they were doing inspections and them telling me they did. I also had great difficulty receiving rent on time which MAP blamed on the tenant but it turned out to be all MAP. There was really nothing good about this real estate agent and I would steer well clear.
