Bought new Trek from Mal, and due to international shipping delays, it was delayed multiple times. Mal went above and beyond to source a bike for me, and was so helpful going through all the features, and recommendations on using it. I can thoroughly recommend Mal and the Diamond Creek Bike Shop as the place to visit to get anything you need for you bike.
Service was great! Mal checked the bike thoroughly and the repairs were carried out in a couple of days. Very fair price. Friendly and professional shop!
Great service. We had our two bikes serviced. Was given good advice and they were ready earlier than quoted. This is the second time that we have had our bikes serviced here. They have a very sound knowledge of bicycle mechanics. Highly recommended.
ME: "Hi, I'd like to book my bike in for a service." SHOP: "Sure, bring it in, but we're pretty busy so we won't be able to start on it for a few days." ME: "OK, what day should I bring it in?" SHOP: "Friday." ME: "Will I be able to collect it the same day?" SHOP: "No, we have to do all the other bikes first." ME: "Will you start on it on Friday?" SHOP: "No." ME: "What day should I bring it in to avoid leaving it there for days?" SHOP: "You have to leave it here to be in the queue." There is literally a physical queue of bikes ME: "Maybe I'll try again later when you're less busy." SHOP: "We're getting busier, so if you wait it will take even longer." ME: "Why can't I just book a date for a service?" SHOP: "This is getting too hard, take it somewhere else."
The lads here are always helpful and provide me valueable information and service while I fumble my way through vintage bike restorations. Some things a little pricey.. Always happy to support local business, they are our warriors. Edit 09/06/2020 Another visit to our local and the prices are fair and always pleasant to chat with these guys. Great customer service. They've saved me soooo much time with both issues I had - first a bike repair a few months back, and just now, am inflation issue! Thanks guys. You bring community back to Diamond Creek.
Weve brought in all now four bikes from Mal and have only the nicest things to say about him his employees and his way of business. Im on a pension and he has always given me the best price and time to pay off my purchases.. its hard to find a decent store that offer great prices and customer service and anytime anything has happened to the bikes and its always the boys hard knocks that result in going in, again were looked after not shuned apon. Recently with the extra money ive got ive put on a lay by for myself, i have Bpd and have "CHANGED" My mind twice lol his still really patient and kind to and really most people get impatient and he still smiles and does his job, as its only he and Justin that works there that i know of. Its a great place i give it a 11 out of 10 for respect, customer service and great products.
These guys are awesome. Knowledgeable, practical and reasonable. All our bikes are now well serviced and ready to hit the road. Great local business.
