Had a breakfast takeaway here. The eggs bacon and tomato chutney focacia and reg cappucino. The food was good and the coffee was even better. The lady at the counter was very kind. 5 stars for her customer service.
Delicious food. Great range of food to choose from. Good luck choosing a cake to have with your coffee, as there is too big of choice to choose from. I had to have a variety. Reasonable prices. Great customer service. Lovely atmosphere. Car parking available on site. Do yourself a favour and make a reservation. Enjoy

Nice busy place, had a good welcoming from the staff, prepared our reserved table in such a good place, two things put us down a bit, some food was oily and staff after a bit completely forgot us till i should left my hand up and some shouts to get someone’s attention!! Ordered Calamari and salad, salad was just off the plastic from either coles or woolie, just added some balsamic Had a glass of Red from little berry SA, it was nice, then after asked for our own cake to be served after lunch it took half an hour to clean the table and bring the cake which we didn’t mind as we had some time to catch up and go around the table to talk with each other. I did taste a grill chicken from the salad, it was a but burnt too!
My experience with Melissa cafe was not very good. We visited them for a breakfast. In short the taste was average: The service was below expectations and not happy with our visit. We ordered two items, eggs and pancake. We were no asked about the order of serving. And to our surprise they served the pancake first! We have not seen in any place that we receive pancake with ice cream before eggs! The worst thing was serving burnt sausage. I mean they have not bothered checking what they are serving even once before serving!!
A place where locals enjoy regular visits. Has to be good to compete with Nona's cooking. Pretty much all the food looked great. Ours was awesome as were the cakes and coffee. Zero complaints or issues. We have to go back and try other dishes and cakes. I would have taken a photo but I ate the food too quickly.Food: 5/5
The place looked so vibrant every time I passed by it so had to go in and try. Tried their tiramisu which had amazing cream but I have had better. Hot chocolate and coffee wasn’t up to the mark. However, their service and prices are great.
This place is so amateur! Went there with 6 friends. Firstly all our meals came out at different times. 20 minute difference between the first meal and the last meal! Anyone in the hospitality industry knows that just shouldn’t happen! Had to repeatedly ask for drinks that never arrived. And after all that, the food was very average… won’t be going back!
Very good cakes and sweet stuff. Service can however be a bit of a hit and miss, and no dogs are allowed even at outdoors tables - smoking however is on one side. Update: during COVID lockdown weekends, there's an outdoor grill that's delicious.
Came here for lunch for a small family get together. Our mains lamb skewers, chicken parma + calamari all great Sides dips, chips, salads, breads were all nice additions to our meals. Very satisfied with the quality of food. Huge variety of cakes and sweets some of which I couldn’t resist taking home for takeaway, wanted to try them all! Fairly disability accessible. Will definitely be going again in the future
