All the food is artwork here, delicious and wonderful presentation. Warm staff, however service could be a tad faster. I ordered the 7 course dinner, and the entire meal service ended up being around 4 hours long. Still a wonderful restaurant and I would recommend if you want to enjoy a evening with loved ones.
I had dinner at Senses and I was positively surprised. As someone who goes fine dining quite a bit, I must say that the food and service there surpassed some two star Michelin restaurants I've been. All waiters were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The wine pairing was amazing and really enhanced the flavours of the food. I loved the creativity behind the dishes, stemming from the chef who lived some time in China. Loved the whole experience! Dietary restrictions: They were accomodating about my dietary restrictions.
Great experience. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their wines and food. The wine pairing is highly recommended. Overall a really exceptional experience with great food that's reasonably priced. Only minor area for improvement will be their desserts, otherwise we had a blast!
Celebrating your birthday by yourself for some reason usually sucks but I really happy that I had a great evening at senses. Specifically there were a really good looking young lady & young man who would greet you with a comforting smile n take care of everything. I chose the seven course one and it was absolutely delicious. They would consider your allergies, preferences even occasions. They even prepared a little surprise before I go which I totally didn’t expect at all but really they literally made my day! Will definitely come back one day for its nice service, recommended!
I took my sister and her husband here as a treat for the wedding anniversary. We had the 5 course meal. It was a wonderful experience! Every plate was inventive, fresh and delicious! I especially was fascinated by the matcha dessert, coz I m not usually a fan. They also gave us a complimentary dessert as an anniversary special. The service was great too!
Had the pleasure of dining here on my last day in Amsterdam. I went for the Ultimate Senses Experience with a 6-course meal, wine pairing and complementary drinks and snacks. I was blown away by the exceptionally good and creative food and the charming service. Not knowing all that much about wine, the lady who served them really won me over with her enthusiasm. Ultimate Senses Experience it truly was. If you're willing to pay for premium, go for Senses.
We had taken the 5 course meal with the wine pairing. It was amazing. Their signature dish of prawns was my abs favorite. Soft and amazing and tasted aweskme. I also loved the first eel dish and the veal. To be honest the desert wasn't good at all. It was Macha ice cream with frozen yogurt and some white chocolates. The combination didn't work and the Macha had no taste for me. None of us on the table really enjoyed it. We ordered the small cakes with coffee honestly didn't expect to be charged for that since the desert went untouched by all but that was much better. The little hazelnut cake was good and the cheesecake too. The macaroons were too sweet. Oh and I forgot to add the homemade brioche and the butter, was the bomb. I'd go back just for that bread. Great service, staff were attentive and really kind.
Young, friendly, ambitious crew, delivering a well balanced and delicious tasting menu. The wine package was well put together, multiplying the experience. Especially finding a white wine that could handle the beetroot in such good way, have to be mentioned. Here are some pics from a great evening, money well spent.
Each dish was amazing. Amazing blend of different tastes. Super creative! We really felt spoiled throughout the night. Wine pairing was amazing. We had some really amazing wines that we have never heard of before - so definitely learnt something new. Personnel is amazing. Super attentive , fun and friendly. Couldn’t recommend more!
Amazing restaurant with a fresh take on modern fine dining. Wine selection was good. Exceptional service - better than many Michelin star restaurants - only a matter of time til this gets listed I think.
