Story
How did we come up with our name I hear you ask?!
The Danish flag is called Dannebrog, which is old Danish for "The Danish Cloth".
We decided on the name "Dannebrog" to keep the close connection between our Tasmanian Princess Mary and Prince Frederick of Denmark.

No smoke alarm , no fire extinguisher in the room ? no way of getting out if fire blocked main entrances , no breakfast FREE OR PAID FOR , mould around windows , only 1. chair , no table to eat off , cardboard coffee cups , clothes line broken and laying on the ground .Rooms: 1/5
We’ve been to the cafe three times. Nice food. It’s not the ritz, but it’s still great. Lovely iced coffees. Staff are accommodating and nice, you just need to strike up a conversation with them. Little doggo laying in the corner. So cute.
The staff are rude and for that I would not go to the lodge and would not recommend it. I watched a supermarket delivery driver fall face first onto the ground, while the staff all laughed and made rude comments. How unprofessional
So many good things about this accommodation. The rooms are clean and fresh, and you close the door and it's quiet. Comfortable beds! Delicious breakfast. Good location too, accessible to the shops on foot, as well as being close to the Redline bus drop off.Rooms: 4/5
A great place to stay , Yaan and Sally are great hosts, a beautiful spot on the banks of the Mersey River in Devonport.Rooms: 5/5
Stopped in for a takeaway coffee. Inattentive, slow service, coffee WAY too hot and not enjoyable. Maybe new, inexperienced staff. Not sure.Service: 1/5
Had a lovely lunch here with my wife. The owners were very friendly and gave great service. Looking forward to coming back to Tassie and visiting this cafe again, next time for breakfast.
Nice spot, right by the river. Food not haute cuisine but was definitely the best value for money meal I've had in ages. The service was fun, friendly and interactive without being intrusive. Would recommend if you want a light lunch in pleasant surroundings.
It is a nice spot to stay overnight in Devonport and not hard to find off street parking if their private car spaces went out. Their breakfast was full size and taste good. Recommended.
Very pleasant young couple support them Service: 5/5
