Great welcoming service, great food. Did the chef's menu and was well worth it. Tried things that I otherwise wouldn't have ordered. Very accommodating with our booking, when our friends were unavoidably detained . Great local gin selection. Staff very knowledgeable about the drinks/wines on offer. A special occasion venue for me price wise, but, well worth it. Lovely welcoming decor. Going with friends? They don't do itemised billing but will split it down the middle.

Very much overpriced. $17 for two small pieces of octopus legs. Very very very long wait. The service was fine but certainly didn’t match the price tag. The food was fine too but nothing surprisingly good/ sophisticated. Recommended on lonely planet. Really don’t understand why.

Stillwater was the best restaurant we had dinner at in Tasmania. Amazing food (the eucalyptus ice cream was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had), great service - very polite waitresses and great location/ atmosphere. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful food and fantastic service. Our waiter was very knowledgable, enthusiastic and attentive. Best meal in Tasmania so far, highly recommended for anyone visiting Launceston.

We had an amazing breakfast experience at Stillwater. The food was tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again when visiting launceston in the future!!
