Truth is, we only popped in for a quick soft drink after walking around the neighbouring museum, so I can't really comment on service or food. This said, yep, all the customers seemed happy, the music was pleasant, and I felt that vibe that all successful eateries seem to have.nnI would describe it as chic casual.nnAs an aside, I didn't find the staff particularly friendly. I smiled at them as we left and one practically glared at me. Hence the 4 and not 5 stars.

In a word, serviceable; however, their larger menu needs to be explored further before I can give this place a fair reviewnThe staff were friendly, the drinks were standard. The photos I've seen from other reviews shows that this place may be a potential silent winner. Food is nice but needs more shush to make you want to go back and spend that kind of coin. Coffee was good but service was lacking.nnHow it’s changed since the first time we came to Launceston ten years ago. What I can’t understand is how the council can let this whole precinct become so run down have they got no time to do some gardening and maintenance, seriously!
large cafe that’s dog friendly by the museum. smashed avo toast was great but I ended up paying $28 for a single piece of toast and one egg so that’s disappointing lol
Dreadful! I had the hamburger and my friend, the fish and chips... neither of us finished our meals....in fact no more than a couple of bites, especially the undercooked fish. Such a shame, used to be great...feel it may have changed ownership along with the name
